Lussick is 24 or 5 and Pauli just turned 20, you would hope he offers more ATM. Letting Pauli go could be a massive mistake IMO, it took taumalolo 3 years to develop into the player he is now Pauli has got more potential than any other forward in the squad IMO.

I tend to agree with Bartman, though I admit there's a fair bit of uncertainty here. I'm not yet convinced that Pauli will become a dominant NRL forward....there's just something about the way he carries himself, how he runs quite upright etc that doesn't always look right to me. Obviously....it all comes down to price.

You could of levelled the same criticism of Darcy this time last year, he finally starts to play at a decent level(surprise,surprise) in the last year of his contract while Pauli played 20 games of first grade last year as a 19 year old kid. It's a tough choice but i know who'd i'd prefer to keep and it's not the 25 yr old who has been on massive overs the last 3 seasons.

I reckon you should retract! There is nomway Lussick is a top 5 prop in 2 years....
At what stage will he make the jump to Origin in your mind? This year or next? That would make him top 15ish.

I don't ever see him on that stage....

Umm, yeh. How a forward enters the collision is pretty bloody important (I'm not making a comment on how pretty his running style is ;-) 0. And like a series of young forwards at this club, those who are half-way decent get a lot more attention than they would at other clubs, because we have not produced many top rate forwards in the last 10 years. I'm not saying he can't make it...but he's got a long way to go.

Lussick doen not have the leg drive too be one of the best props in game, that will never change.
