I said our backline is good enough IMO. Hoppa + Semi are in the better half in the comp in there positions you would imagine.
Robinson without beeing a star will go ok and our two centres would be biggest concern but IMO will do just enough. They probably wont create too much on there own but given space and time and nice ball will finish was is infront of them.

Id say we are at least one quality strike centre off a top 4 side if our halves fire. I think Foran replacing norman or sandow in our halves would also help.
Our current pack is good enough to compete with most packs they're short of experience though which watmough will bring

And is coming off then bench this round to prove it, massive cat the last year or so. Jnr Paulo has potential to be very good, mannah is reliable and watmough would be close to the best in his position but cowboys have it over us in the forward and halves even with foran. We have a better 1 and 9 in my opinion but one strike centre and i think we would be top 4. Also the other big difference is experience, nth qld have players with big game experience we don't.

The cows front row is a benchmark but our forward pack overall is just as strong given their weaknesses in the past in the back row (before LoLo hit his straps).

Their spine outside of Thurston is far weaker than ours so overall the point is the same...both teams solid across the park in positions other than outside backs

Yeah they have experience at losing big games when it matters. Similar to us in the late 90's and 2000's.

I think we're on the way up whereas the Cows are on their way out. JT is 32 this year, and Matt Scott is 30 so whilst they're still very good players this could be their last contracts or they may sign on for 2 years more depending when it runs out. I'm still not sold on Taumalolo, he's been playing for a few years yet is still only 21 so he's still got a lot of improvement in his game.

Rumour is he had 72 lines worth but then court said they were going to fine him $2.5k per line so he said it was all just one line for himself. His suspension will be served concurrently with a 6 week long glowsticking rave
