Have a feeling manly are the one's that leaked it trying to make Parra look bad and trying to convince him to stay. According to some people Foran told manly today he was leaving.

Even though its been league worst kept secret in the past week that he was coming here.

Johnson is still considered a rookie $300-$350k tops

$600-$750k is crazy. Not a chance will he get that.

Hopa has no pace and shouldn't be on more than $300k

Hoppa has pedigree and the runs on the board, both pre Mormon mission and actually playing fullback this season, Johnston is just all potential, he's not proven himself at fullback or anywhere else that isn't the wing, he deserves no more than a top winger with potential elsewhere at this stage 350k is just about right for that

Hopoate hadn't really proven himself either, he had only played 22 games and had played Origin. He played some fullback, centre and wing. He won a premiership and managed to be a standout but he had some very good players around him helping him do that.

Johnston played 19 games last year. Scored 21 tries. Selected for the Kangaroos but, in Sheens wisdom, wasn't played. He also won a premiership. Difference is outside of a game in the Charity Shield he hasn't played fullback in the NRL. He has some pretty good players around him making him look good too.

Not completly similar BUT I think my estimates will be closer than yours given the increase in the salary cap and the lack of top quality backline players. The market will dictate his price. Not the fact he has only played one season.

I Hope the grubs who leaked this are happy, instead of trying to turn the club into a powerhouse they go out of their way to destroy the club because they can't run it. The sooner these pricks are all removed from the club the better.

Very much doubt it came from our club, they haven't said anything for a while. Unless it was the DF associate on the board who is interested in causing probs ahead of the election
