No update yet on Spencer’s future status @Blade23 ?All about starting.
and to me that's a pity. I think his role off the bench is perfect for his body shape, and style. All about starting.
Tell that to the Canterbury-Bankstown Panthersand to me that's a pity. I think his role off the bench is perfect for his body shape, and style.
Maybe I'm just being naive. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the hill.

Really.. Comes across as a good bloke.Hughes did too.
Just on Smith I mentioned earlier he played NSW junior touch as a sign of how good he is and someone claimed he's bulked up then and gotten slower the implication being he only got picked on raw speed. He trains hard. He is versatile, very quick and has good vision. Very good ruck awareness. He does hit hard in defence. And yes he can bounce off tackles. The signs are there he could develop into a very good hooker if he works on a few areas.
He needs a bit more muscle, and a good stint playing against the men in reserves first. Very much a work in progress.
Put it this way. If he reaches his full potential, he has a higher ceiling than some of the other hookers at the club.
Well said ON. There was nothing quick about Cliffy Lyons when he played first grade, but geez he could play. Cody Walker fits that mould too. Since he is also an exceptional cricketer (opening batsman), he obviously has great hand eye coordination and timing. Handy attributes to have if you are ball playing from dummy half.Just on Smith I mentioned earlier he played NSW junior touch as a sign of how good he is and someone claimed he's bulked up then and gotten slower the implication being he only got picked on raw speed.
The point was there would have been players way quicker than Smith that they could have included in the touch team. Smith is only quick in the context of running around tired bodies. He's never been Damien Cook quick. So for him to get picked in a rep touch means he understands thing like space, timing and has got some footy smarts in contrast to the perception some have that he's nothing but a brute force guy bullying his way through lower grades.

Well, Cliffy was always a smart player......I remember when Chris Mortimer was at Penrith . On a number of occasions he was picked at 5/8 and absolutely belted ( fairly) Lyons every time he got the ball. After a while he would just pass early.
Not smart enough to dodge Ben Gonzales’ left rights!!Well, Cliffy was always a smart player......
Thanks.NSW Cup/Flegg Beat the Bears
St Marys/NSW Cup hybrid team got smashed by Parra 42-24
Well f**k that bloke then. It’s not where you come from, but how you are brought up that matters. Can be immature.
He was the one mocking where some of the players live.
Do you get the feeling the club's confident about Blacker replacing Leniu and being good enough to make an impact in first grade? He's the closest to Spencer we have. All about starting.

Consistently impactful is the go!If that happens. It will be more about filling the position rather than trying to replicate a style.
Smith and Henry would come right in the mix too. Huth for a bit if consistency becomes an issue.
Blacker needs to have a big year and take whatever chance he gets.
Sorro is off contract. An opportunity may come up if Spencer stays for one of those guys.
Impact is great to have, but end of the day. Ivan likes consistency.
