inspiration and leading by example is something someone at his point in career and experience should look for. he's done that and giving him captaincy in the trials shows his regard by the club and his attitude

Fitzy has coached Matterson before at Roosters so he would know him well.
The backrower prop option would be Tom Gilbert from Cows they are going to struggle to keep him.
We also have Colquhoun coming through

Agreed. If Nikora gets a big offer and wants to cash in, fine let him go.

We are definitely a quality centre short right now and need a backrower and a starting prop for next year.

Massive no for Matterson for mine. Just based on how he treated the Tigers and how he requested an upgrade 12 months in at Parra. He also has concerns around his body. Good player but not for us.

I think Nikora stays for what its worth. Where it becomes "interesting" is if Nikora does leave and Wade is forced out. Wilton and Sifa can step up but we have nobody else on the edges though I think Sifa is best in the middle. We don't even have out and out edges in NSW cup.
