I don't begrudge the site needing to make money to pay for hosting etc. but the number of ads since the rebuild is ridiculous. The site is unusable with them.

I'm happy to forgo being able to click "Like" on a post if it means a better viewing experience.

I don't have any of these issues really and I don't run ad blockers.

I'm using Chrome now and this seems a better browser in the current meta.

Feej, this includes on my Macs. I've ditched Safari - I had these issues you guys get when I was using Safari

HAHAHA

Here's an irony. There is a certain cheap online retail store which is taboo to mention here

Yet after submitting previous post a got a wee ad in the right frame

I'm having the issues on Chrome. My Mac is a few years old now, but it's pretty beefy and really only runs up the fan when I'm processing audio for my podcast or playing some games. Never just browsing a (mostly text) forum.

I also have no issue with them taking advertising $$ to keep things running etc, however when it leads into all these issues, they should be looking at it. Like I said, I'd happily throw them a couple of bucks a month for an ad free experience.

I'm the same. Chrome on my iMac, no problems, chrome on my Samsung phone, no problems, Safari on my iPad no problems.

It's probably the age of my machine, but let's be serious here; there's no way that ads on any site, especially a site that is predominately text-based i.e. a footy forum should degrade the performance so much.

Except for being to fast to click on a thread or topic, I find it behaves good enough on safari and iPhone

I never use a pc for the forum

I clicked on your image and got this....
"You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

HAHAHA so they can advertise here but not be patronised. Probably because I visited the site online recently

I'll let you know how this goes when I get it set up. I bought it and then the back played up so couldn't lift it LOL

Backs been knifed now so will give it a go before I go back to work
