We also have our world cup player who is a fullback as well.
I have totally faith in Fitz this is our year we won't go backwards.

I hope because we have one injury, this season is not about injuries and that's an excuse it's next man up.
Panthers have lost players in off season.
Roosters will throw 18 years old in to fill gaps.

Did you watch him play at all last season? Totally disinterested. For a kid with so many alleged wraps, there was plenty of close SG ball games where he could have stepped up, but was a passenger
If he ends up anywhere near NRL we are in strife.
He needs a full season In flegg with consistent performances showing consistent interest in what’s happening on the field

I'm really bummed about Dykes. He was our potential X Factor "unknown" that could have helped us go to another level.

Taukamo has some really big wraps and Iro played 2 games back there for the Jets last year. I haven't seen enough of Taukamo personally so hard to comment. Iro to me does seem more of a centre but those spots are full at the moment so maybe we change course given he is comfortable there. Stonestreet is a winger and I can't see Ronnie or Katao moving back there.

It is not all doom and gloom but still a bummer. Realistically WK is/was a walk up starter. I don't think Miller would have pushed WK out of the role by seasons end... I just wonder what this does to contracts as I think some at the club saw Dykes taking his role by seasons end.

Not making excuses but perhaps knowing he had the step up coming contributed to that flatness. Being closer to Fitz and the inner circle now by being in the squad may light that fire. Who knows. Have the kids with wraps don't pan out but I trust Fitz to unlock it/piss him off.

He wasn’t a fitz signing. And in round 1 of ball, you aren’t knowing of a step up.

Yeah I know but his deal had this years upgrade baked already didn't it? It was a 4 year deal or something which for a young kid probably still in school I dunno I can see them killing time. Shape him up or ship him out! He would be doing a full NRL pre season this year where Fitz would have had a real good look. I'm sure they would have factored in a long term injury to either WK/Dykes and the options below before pulling the trigger.

Did he play any flegg last year? I can't recall him.

Yeah can see Connor Tracey being the main beneficiary of Dykes unfortunate injury. Ironically he has battled back from 2 or 3 acl’s so proof that it doesn’t necessarily kill a career. I’d like to see Iro given first shot in the centre’s and Sifa back to the back-row and centre as required. Connor Tracey is now a must for the bench. Tricky either starting for theJets or firsts as required.
