I'm still on the Teig bus but I'm up the back.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's struggling with the speed of the game in his first year as a fulltime 80 minute player.

For example in the first 10 rounds last year he averaged 70 minutes and played 6 full games (80 mins). For the second half of the year he averaged a mere 47 minutes a game. These latter games were arguably his best.

This year he's averaging 80 minutes obviously and he's making more errors and more MTs.

Not as the main man but I'd be happy to rest Teig if needed and bring The Captain on for him instead of slotting him in as a middle. Mind you, the only way Teig gets used to the weekly 80 minutes is to persist. FItz will certainly persist with him

Wilton is a former NSW u/20s captain (in a team that included Crichton, Burton, Leniu - all squeezed out of their team), 40-50 games in. Hitting straps. He will get a good deal. He is not leaving - it will get done.

Teig is getting better, there is an upside for the future. Also I’m worried about paying heaps for an end of life player. Keeping the team together for the next two seasons is important.
