If he doesn’t perform, which is possible no doubt, we will have to try and offload a 24 year old half worth 500K a year. Surely someone would pick him up for 300K if we chipped in 200K? I mean, it’s not like trying to offload a 700K winger or something, the kid seems to have something and guys that can play 6,7,1 are worth a bit.
Anyway, I reckon it’s a good pick up for us, shame it’s not immediately though, hate these transfers a year out.

You realise one of the reasons why he probably didn't want to go back to the Dragons was that the Dragons sacked him before he went to Manly? He was always going to live in the shire as well would have made a difference as who would want to travel everyday?

One proud stat for the history books that one!! Do they offer a trophy for that stat? You can put it alongside the one and only you've won in the worlds smallest trophy cabinet. Yours!

Whatever makes you feel better about your debacle of a club champ. Flanno made an absolute goose of himself if I remember. Came out in the media saying he was feeling confident about getting it (AFB) done and expecting an answer within a week etc. Probably not best to judge AFB's indiscretion as a young fella when you've have/had some quality humans in you're ranks. You must be so proud of Jack DeBell-end. Anyway all the best for '26. My wish is for a competitive Derby.

I honestly don't think $500k is a bad buy for 3 years. Yeah it is on potential but his mentality towards the game is pretty good.
If he can overcome his glaring weakness then he could be a really good player. We'll see if they are working with him on that over the off season.

Think they got a good buy. Seems very cool, calm and collected. Who knows what he does when he gets the keys to a team, but for 500k it’s not a bad risk considering what other players have been given in the past. I mean there was talk of trindall attracting a million a season after the cowboys game.. seriously..

Disappointed to see him go, but realistically if he has been told he is back up for trindall and nicho, we can’t blame him. Someone else will step into that role after next season.
