I think Toby gets a bit of an unfair run in here - I’ve not checked stats, so stand to be corrected, but to the naked eye, I think Toby (and OK) have been our best middles recently. Toby seems to be the one who takes the tough hit ups when we need them. He’s putting his hand up and having a good dig.

Agreed with @Chimp Herb and Toby both have similar output and impact. And yes, Toby cops a lot of unfair criticism.

Also agree with @Stake Removed that her has more upside.

I don’t see room for them both long term, so based on that I’d be easing Toby out the door.

I’d bag Toby plenty mainly due to the zany antics, podcasts etc - but since the bulldogs debacle he has been good, solid and in some ways a revelation… maybe my expectations are low, but BHU ain’t up to it

He’s our impact player, we have players that can play long minutes. Hunts job is to bring energy and change the game. His job is to play short stints.

He’s inconsistent in the minutes he gets so I question how effective he’ll be with longer minutes

Don’t mind it , obviously for depth and would mean no more Puru.

Polard is a few years away and I assume goes to NSW cup at some point next year so this is a good gap filler till then
