I could see doueihi to you blokes in 25, DA in 26. Flanno throwing names out like Croft etc is classic Flanno.

Part of me does miss the randomness of the signings he does.
Yeah Doueihi is a rumour. Doueihi may just take Bird's spot as well. He's definitely a great coach.

I'm going to throw a smokey in for the signing of DA.
The Dolphins.
Back to Qld, and with a very good young HB and not a bad spine to play with.
They had a whisper about Ben Hunt, then it dropped away.

Just a thought, no intel.
Everyone realising Hunt isn't a halves asshole

Well ya know DA could stay with the Sharks and be the Super sub, or a permanent 1st grader if one of Nicko, Tricky or WK lose their way. Be in line for a Premiership window with a team he loves
Or,
The lure of playing with Flanju could be too much to resist, not to forget that if they falter he'll cop the blame.
Tough choice

OK takes up option, and Puru's twin joins the Sharks from Canberra.

Market Watch: Sharks recruitment drive continues, Raiders close in on flyer

Cronulla have continued their recruitment drive by locking down prop Oregon Kaufusi and recruiting talented young prop Hohepa Puru from the Raiders.
As first reported by this masthead, Kaufusi opted against triggering a get-out option in his 2025 contract to instead commit to the Sharks for next season.
Kaufusi played the first 23 games of the 2024 season for the Sharks, sat out round 27, before then playing the club’s three finals matches in emphasising his durability and resilience.

“We took some positive steps forward last season and I’m keen to play my part in helping the team continue to improve again next year,” Kaufusi said.
“We have a close group here at Cronulla, I enjoy working with Fitzy and the coaching staff and I’m excited about the season ahead.”
Puru, twin brother of talented NSW Cup half Niwhai Puru, joins the Sharks’ full time NRL squad for the 2025 season as an edge or middle forward after making his NRL debut with Canberra last season.

Yep the golden child will always escape the wrath of the old man. Massive conflict of interest for choppers. Not an issue at the Pennies because Cleary is a superstar. Hannibal is barely a first-grader.

Yep. Jarrad Anderson was a superstar in the making.
Marty Lang, a great player, maybe not a superstar in the Jarrad mold.
I still remember that try he scored against the dragons at home when he was a mile offside - officials felt sorry for Jarrod I reckon. One of the only highlights from the depths of Anderson hell.
Be keen to see how Kong Gutho goes post a standard Flanno Jr spray for idiot play.

Great to read. He’s a special player Nikora - every run, every tackle he makes, he does it with intent.
Seems like a great bloke too - no shit about him, no ego, never a sniff of scandal. But he loves to belt blokes. Love him. My favourite Shark (along with Sifa).

As much as I play up the DA thing.
Nikora has been my favourite Shark for a few years now.

Absolute gun
Plays well above his weight.
Essential to the mighties.
Respected by his Kiwi team mates.(see how JFH was to him after the prelim..all love).
True leader this man.

cmon mighties.
Unrelated but I made a bet for a steak on DA staying today. We love all D's and A's. May the festive season be full of D in the Dragons A. Sucked in flanno.

Dragons tears will be unreal.
