Dogs in talks with James Shillington and if he signs his brother is keen to join him after his contract expires with The Roosters at the end of next year

Luke Towers and I were in the same junior soccer team for ten years, and were pretty good mates.

I was the captain, so I'm going to take all credit for moulding him into the mature young man he is today, as well as for any of his future success :lol:

He plays fullback by the way.

Has a get out clause in his contract that he may exercise as long as he doesn't play League. Apparently he signed with the Bronco's for less than what he could get elsewhere. I'm told he is getting itchy feet and wants to travel. Super 14 appeals to him for this reason. He may not go next year but they have been talking is what I have been told.

Didn't believe the Hunt rumour myself but I have a friend who is involved with the Reds and he was adamant they had been talking. Then I read the SMH this morning -

It also mentions Bronco's will have trouble keeping Hunt. As I said earlier, not sure if he will go next year but they have been chatting

Where did you get this Nonu tipoff?

Weepu had seemed the more likely out of the 2 to sign up with a NRL franchise

My mate with Qld Reds also has some links with the Titans and reckons they are more confident of signing Nonu than Weepu. Apparently Nonu has said that he will play for anyone if the price is right.
