lol @ Joel Monaghan. Left the Raiders for better opportunites under Stuart and the Roosters and since he signed, Stuart was fired and the Roosters haven't made the finals.

Great career move Joel!

Yeh because the Raiders have done great things in the past 3 years.

So he's earning $300,000+ achieving SFA instead of earning $200,000 whilst achieving SFA at the Raiders?

 Nice one champ.

An NBN news report last night said that Brent Tate is expected to be a Raider in 2008, take it for what you will.
hope there's little substance behind that.. was hoping the our boys would throw a bit of money at him.

tate was going to test union waters but his neck brace is too thick by rugby standards
if i were tate i wouldn't be putting that neck anywhere near a rugby ruck.

Monaghan was offered more money by the Raiders.

The Roosters actually offered him the least of any of the clubs that were vying for him, but he went there after a chat with Ricky Stuart, in the hopes of bolstering his rep chances.

And in 2006 the Raiders came 7th, where did the Roosters finish? 14th...

Great career move Joel!
