Brad Murray, the Roosters NYC halfback (and a star player), has signed with the Parramatta Eels, according to Peter Sterling.

Good stuff if it happens. Tonga to the Bunnies. Need a fullback - Nightingale, Milne or Farrar. If Wesser signs on, no more than one year.

Can't stand the sook but Salter would be great as a player wearing the red and green; however, there is no way News Ltd are going to let him leave the Storm. Melbourne and Brisbane have to be looked after by their boss - News Ltd.

Come to the Bunnies Willie Tonga.

Ahh you have heard of a thing called the salary cap

Just melbourne doing their usual thing, bringing in sub standard forwards and turning them into first grade forwards (ie norrie, tandy). Probably only paying them 50k/year

Correct...the players tend to grow in confidence with the culture that Bellamy brigns them into.

Lowe would be a handy pick up..

Aside from the salary cap scandal, I have tremendous respect for the Storm in that regard, especially with front rowers.

Every single prop that has gone down to Melbourne has played above their own ability. From recent memory:

- Brett White - average reserve grade prop at Dragons, became State Of Origin, CvC Origin, Australian representative prop at Storm
- Garrett Crossman - average first grader at Panthers, was a vital bench contributor at Storm, now back to mediocrity at Souths
- Ben Cross - injury/suspension prone at Raiders, outstanding pack leader at Storm, back to being injury/suspension prone at Knights
- Ian Donnelly - useless at Manly, put in solid matches as an impact player at Storm, back to being hopeless at Sharks and Titans
- Jeff Lima - reserve grade prop at Tigers, became a tremendous metre-eating hit-up merchant and New Zealand prop at Storm
- Ryan Tandy - average reserve grade prop who had been to lots of teams, became a forward leader and marquee buy for Dogs

Others include Matthew Cross (Panthers), Jeremy Smith (QLD Cup).

It has been confirmed that Storm are trialling Waqa this week to assess his fitness and ball playing ability.

Apparently they also had a long discussion with Lowe after the game on Sunday...I like Lowe's style and the fact that he runs straight in a Ben Cross type approach.
