How are Melbourne still signing players? (if they do sign those guys).
Has it crossed your mind that Melbourne actually have to replace the players they have let go?

- Ben Cross - injury/suspension prone at Raiders, outstanding pack leader at Storm, back to being injury/suspension prone at Knights
Brett White - average reserve grade prop at Dragons
David Fa'alogo > Sharks
RLW and a few of my sources that are usually on the mark.

Uh... are you aware of the reason they have to let players go in the first place?
Michael Vella >>>> Sharks 2 year deal.
Would you prefer Clint Newton?/facepalm
Justin Horo and Eric Grothe Junior now very likely to re-sign with the Parramatta Eels. Apparently Horo has already resigned. Both are players the club should have resigned ages ago; good thing they have now (most likely anyway).
Also, Nathan Hindmarsh said on Foxsports News that we are 'apparently a big chance' of signing Quade Cooper. Also, interestingly, an official in Rugby Union, David Nucifora, announced they will not top-up his contract by much more because of all the 'young talent' waiting for their chance.
Also, a source from Rugby announced on Twitter that Quade is at the ARU headquarters right now.
Thanks to Eels fans who have told us about this information! Stay tuned.
Plus Bryan Norrie and I guess Scott Anderson.Aside from the salary cap scandal, I have tremendous respect for the Storm in that regard, especially with front rowers.
Every single prop that has gone down to Melbourne has played above their own ability. From recent memory:
- Brett White - average reserve grade prop at Dragons, became State Of Origin, CvC Origin, Australian representative prop at Storm
- Garrett Crossman - average first grader at Panthers, was a vital bench contributor at Storm, now back to mediocrity at Souths
- Ben Cross - injury/suspension prone at Raiders, outstanding pack leader at Storm, back to being injury/suspension prone at Knights
- Ian Donnelly - useless at Manly, put in solid matches as an impact player at Storm, back to being hopeless at Sharks and Titans
- Jeff Lima - reserve grade prop at Tigers, became a tremendous metre-eating hit-up merchant and New Zealand prop at Storm
- Ryan Tandy - average reserve grade prop who had been to lots of teams, became a forward leader and marquee buy for Dogs
Others include Matthew Cross (Panthers), Jeremy Smith (QLD Cup).
