They breached the cap in 1991. What title was there to strip?

Edit: oops, they breached in 1990. They were $85,000 over the cap due to a miscalculation of incentive bonuses. They were fined $100,000, had to pay back the $85,000 and operate under a reduced salary cap. It nearly ended the club.
