Reynolds wasn't far off Johnson at NYC level. He did lead us to the GF after all. Having not played a game for 18 months by the time round 1 kicks off is going to be a detriment, you'd think. We might not be able to get a good gauge on his quality at NRL level until later in the year.
On Issac Luke, the truth is that he is in the group on 9's that are a mile behind Smith. At times he is probably the number 2 DH, at times he is probably the number 12 DH in the game. Unfortunately for Issac is that his best and worst games are poles apart and as he has little to no kicking or passing game if our middle players don't get a roll on he can be largely anonymous in attack. His defense has fallen apart a little since his shoulder injury. Hopefully with a full off-season under a professional coaching regime he will get his confidence back in defense. We saw it at times in 2011, but it was sparing.
