Yes I like Tyrrell a lot, good, injury free workhorse who is only getting better. And I think we lack genuine battering rams as it is.

Has a bit of footwork tucked away too

But that is the rumour at the moment

Hmm Koroisau I think will end up too talented to play third choice hooker for us.

I think we should keep one of Starling or Tyrrell. Starling is going guns for the Bears, quite unlucky to not be in first grade. Both are solid props which are harder to come by than you think.

The rest should be wrapped up too. I'm expecting Walker to be the big one there in the outside backs, should replace Merritt's wage in a few years. We will need to make space for Keary and the Burgess boys as their pay goes up a lot

I agree with all your points, after making my first comment i think we should wrap up Tyrrell, he lives and breathes South Sydney ever since coming here from Brisbane, he's always reliable when called upon.

With Koroisau personally I think he'd go well at a club lacking spark and depth at hooker, but then again we could always use Peats as a backrower and have him come off the bench, he has a similar game to James Segeyaro and would continue the work of Luke's damaging running during a game.

Walker will be one of the best centres in the coming years, we just have to lock him up (which i'm hearing will happen soon). Hopefully Keary stays and we get the best out of him, ditto to the Burgess boys, i feel they'll be our prop rotation after 2014.

Our team play specific roles rather based on what they are good at rather than positions. Madge gives them specific roles within the team, for Sutton his role is run the ball hard, look for offloads and support Reynolds in kicking and spreading it wide. Not a typical five eight role. His role is quite simple and even if his number changes his role won't change much in the back row, except perhaps less kicking.

Keary will just add another dimension of attack. But his body, work rate and defence need to be ready too.

I have went and watched Keary play the last two weeks for Norths. Last week he ran the ball and was excellent. Yesterday he hardly ran the ball and was only average. In saying that the whole team and game was average. A lot of dropped ball, forward passes and the ref never stopped blowing the whistle. It appeared Steve Price must have called Dylan Farrell and said try not to get hurt because he only touched the ball about 3 times and didn't do anything. Not much could be taken from yesterdays Norths performance that's for sure.

Jacob Miller to be released by the Tigers with immediate effect and sign with Hull.

Seems a strange thing to do in the midst of an injury crisis.

Jesus f**king Christ he would fit in well with the Stanley brothers to complete the most over-rated merkins in the game.

not just that he is the Tigers only real halfback
Mate,as a supporter nothing surprises, you would think this is part of a plan to bring in another player as their 2nd tier cap is full, but history tells me it is nothing more than a knee jerk reaction.

I'm hearing Carney to the Panthers is a done deal.

After Soward it looks like they're balancing that out with some actual talent in their halves for 2014.

Also seeing as these would both be long term moves, it is interesting that for all their talk about developing juniors they don't see a single up and coming halves player in the entire Penrith district.
