Nice way to repay the Knights for looking after his family while he's in the slammer.

Not that I'd want him at the club at all. Didn't think Penrith would be that desperate to be honest.

Plum, Kite and Latimore all off contract next year. Grant is leaving this year.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard will be ready for First Grade next year. Andy Saunders and Oliver Clark still 2-3 years away.

We definitely needed another prop.

Cocfusing this one,some are saying hes signed a 2 year deal with with penrith while other media are saying hes signed a 3 year deal with St George Illawarra.

Telegraph or SMH will claim the scoop & then take more pleasure abusing their rival for getting it wrong. The funniest thing would be if both were wrong.

Packer will be good value for whoever captures him. It could be a breakout season for him. Will he have carryover points from the assault if he gets charged on the field next season?

nrl won't register him for next season, he doesn't even get released until jan and would still be on parole, that is if he isn't deported.

Jarrod apparently broke up with his long term partner this season too, which probably had an impact. Or might have been related, I don't know.

No carry over points. The story is that he will get a million dollar deal. It couldn't be for more than 3 years IMO, so the jury will be out on what sort of value that represents.

Not sure how the boys will handle him in the showers after the game. I've seen Wentworth, it gets pretty full-on.
