I'd be happy to get FPN.
Not so sure about Blair. Would definitely depend on the coin he'll be on.
Is Marshall the answer? On his day one of the best in the world, but how often does he have those days?
Probably better than Sandow though.

I think benji needs a change of clubs and environment to reignite his form, will it happen?? Highly unliky

I agree on both counts Stagger. The team I think he should go to though is the Broncos, that's if they can get a couple more decent front rowers. Their forwards are way to soft. Just like ours really.

I can't see how Marshall can fit into our side (if the talk we may be interested is even correct) for 2014. He either plays in the halves which we have covered by Norman and sandow who are on pretty large contracts - it would be crazy having another half on a large contract. The only other position he could possibility play is fullback and that aren't happening with Hayne there along with hoppa as the next in line.

I reckon it is bullshxt that we are interested in Marshall

You answered your own question earlier.

I suggested we take Soward for the remainder of this season. I as a supporter have not written this season off. We have obvious weaknesses in the 6 jersey. In other sports players on loan which will be the affect with Soward have proven beneficial. He has a point to prove and may be motivated for 2013. It's obvious he needs to get out of Saints and he would improve our side in 2013.

The suggestion re: Marshall is long term. So I cannot see why it's the same and why I have answered my own question.

Sandow and Soward in the halves???

Defence would have to be a major concern.

This season is a right of and money we spend on Soward would be better used paying these young blokes who are extending their contracts.

From RLW Mole today...

EELS CONSIDER VAVE OFFER

The Eels now seem likely to secure the signature of controversial British prop Gareth Hock, and the club is also looking at Storm forward Siosala Vave. At 24 and having honed his craft under Craig Bellamy, the Mt Druitt junior could do a job for Ricky Stuart in 2014.

JAKE STAKES HIS CLAIM

Watch for the Eels to offer exciting fullback Jake Mullaney a new contract after his impressive performance against the Roosters last Friday night - his first NRL match of the year. With so many players being shown the door, Mullaney, 23 is one bloke Parramatta definitely want to keep!

RLW, 12/06/13, Pgs.4-5

As usual, take it with a grain of salt...but I do seem to recall Stagger mentioning we were looking at Vave last year maybe?

And whats your plan for the forward pack then? Marshall won't be able to hide that weakness

Would Soward really have any motivation to do well for us? I mean he wouldn't want to play shit and look like a dick, but it happens with the rest of our team, so why would he be any diff???

If he leaves saints early it will be a combo of they couldn't be f'ed with him anymore and he can get bigger coin somewhere
