Pretty much. He just repeated why ken said and said well that's good news for eels

Repeated the story this morning on the Grill Team - and went on to say "Itd be interesting to see what Parra does from here..." & "geez, they have to consider if they'd want a bloke here who doesnt want to be" - or words to that effect....

http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/sport/nrl/news/gareth-hock-and-parramatta-eels-in-contract-talks/

There is speculation British international Gareth Hock will not be coming to the Eels next year despite signimg a two-year-deal.
"I've heard he's contacted [coach] Ricky Stuart, whether it's himself or through his manager, to say because of personal issues... his partner's given birth... he won't be coming," Matty Johns told The Grill Team today.
If correct, this would not be the first time Parramatta have had a player back out on a deal recently, with Raiders forward Josh Papalii pulling out of a contract earlier this year.
"We got a text from Ken Edwards, the boss of Parramatta, that said Hock, as opposed to Josh Papali, hasn't got a parachute. Hock has signed a non-negotiable contract and as far as Parramatta is concerned Gareth Hock will be there in 2014 and 2015," said Matty.
Matty Johns said it will be interesting to see how far Parramatta will push.
"I think this is heading for a big stand-off. There's one thing for sure, you don't want a player travelling from the other side of the world who doesn't want to play for them.
"And on the other side of the coin it's a really bad look for Parramatta if they lose another player who pulls out," he said.
Fans of the Pommie back rower say his aggressive and confrontational style will be a massive gain for Eels coach Ricky Stuart.
Hock, 29, is currently playing for Widnes in the UK Super League. In 2008 he was named in the final 24-man England squad, but in 2009 he missed two years of footy after testing positive for cocaine and benzoylecgonine.

he sounds like he'd be a great addition to the club on ability but if there's any truth to the story and he doesn't want to be here then the club should cut ties and sort it out very soon so they can use the money on a decent replacement.

I dont think she has had the baby... i think she has just found out she is pregnant and doesn't want to bring a new born this far. would definitely throw a spanner in the plans of Hock but i am sure it will resolve itself.

I think it's an issue that can be resolved however its nice to see that it's not another club putting pressure but something more important than that, whatever the outcome I really hope it works out for all involved.

Nice to see the truth has finally come to surface

i don't think its just the baby thing - the rumour also says he's got a big offer from a ESL club to stay ..... money changes everything

we just need to charge this club a massive transfer fee to let him break his contract :thumn

Hopefully it's resolved soon, either way.

If he is coming and it's all rubbish, great. If not, damn. Let's get some compensation and move on to use the money we would of spent on him, toward someone else.

I don't buy the baby bullshit. It's all about the coin and he's just playing the compassion card.

IIRC Steve Turner had to get out of a deal and needed to stay in Melbourne otherwise his girlfriend would cut off his nuts.

Not too much later and he's in Sydney playing for the Dogs.

Agree Hock is playing for Widnes only due he doesn't wanna play for Wigan. That shows he has previous history of not honouring contracts.

Also the silence from Hock leads me to believe there is more to it. He has had plenty of time to deny it as a rumour and from what i seen and heard has yet to do it.

Apart from the Mole tweeting it last week, and the Article posted by Triple M about an hour ago - there hasn't been a single story in the press about it - here or over in the UK - So has he even heard the rumour......given there has been so little fanfare about it - and we all know the Telecrap loves a good Eels story (particularly when its an opportunity to kick Parra in the Balls) then I'd suggest Hock he hasn't.....
As for Ken Edwards Tweeting in response - maybe that is as far as it has gone.....
