The redhead is not the player from the arch rivals. He played for the Indigenous All-Stars a couple of years ago (but yes, he's a ranga).

The player from the arch rivals is the Eels junior.

I think the red head is the surprise visit actually because if its the guy I'm thinking it would be a surprise but if he gives it a read hot go he could get a bench spot (if its the guy I'm thinking)

So the red head was jones

the surprise visit was Hoppa at training today

and the young player returning back to us is...... no idea... arch rivals can only mean Bulldogs or Manly - so we are talking Taufua or Inu IMO...

Young player couldn't be Inu. But Tafua could be a good one. I'm think more along the lines of Jason Seage someone of that calibre

. Runway young gun, Fabian Goodall has this week signed a 2 year deal to commence immediately with the Parramatta Eels. Fabian, who was a Parramatta junior having played for Wentworthville and attended Hills Sports High School prior to his being signed with the Manly Sea Eagles has had a fantastic last two years. After contesting the Australian Schoolboys in 2012, Fabian was promoted at the age of 17 into the Sea Eagles NYC team where he performed exceptionally well in the second half of the season. This lead to his selection in Laurie Daley's Emerging Blues squad with the best young talent in the state.

2013 saw him continue to play exceptional football and a mid season move from the Second Row to Wing only seemed to enhance his reputation as a first grader in waiting. In a team that finished bottom of the Holden Cup table Fabian was a standout, his stats for his last 10 games when moved to the wing read:

10 games, 12 tries, 102 runs for 1328 metres at 13 metres/run, 26 tackle breaks, 22 offloads and 8 line breaks.

This form resulted in him being chosen at 18 to contest the Battle of Bati over in Fiji which served as a Fiji World Cup selection trial. Despite receiving a number of offers from rival clubs Fabian was always keen to return home and with Brad Arthur keen on his recruitment after their time together at Manly the decision was an easy one.

While still eligible for NYC, Fabian will begin training immediately with the first grade squad and will hope to impress his new coaches with the goal of making his NRL debut for the Blue and Gold in the near future.
