I'm a Penrith fan and it's hard to disagree with anything you say here. I'll take him as the alternative of losing Cleary (Nathan) after we have developed him into one of the better prospects would be a bitter pill to swallow.

Whatever the real reason was for gould sacking IC will surface once more. It's just like re-kindling a relationship with your ex-girlfriend. If ic wasn't good enough a few years ago, he has done sweet fxxx all since to change that.

You don’t think Nathan’s contract had clauses regarding his dad coaching and the Panthers didn’t negotiate with Ivan until Nathan was signed?

I agree it’s a shit go by Ivan, but it was clearly a package deal.

As soon as Nathan signed you knew he must have got word form Dad that he was on his way
It was clear that Nathan would be leaving unless the panthers found a way to get Ivan
So the panthers did what they had to do. Can’t knock their hustle. You’d want your club to do it too in the same circumstance

Sucks for the tigers though and their fans are right to feel disappointed with IC
