The cap has moved so fast, the first year of aku's big deal it was only $6.3m. That 500k would be equivalent to $750k+ in 2018. The dawg isn't worth that much, but certainly half would be fair.
Cody walker is only on 200,000 at the moment.and he wants a upgrade in pay all hes going.we could get him for a good price, maybe early realise.he not the calibre of cronk but we cant wait for a strong chance of him just retiring anyway.plus we will have plenty of coin for forwards. Not sure whats a fair price for him though, curious if anyone that its a gamble.
Plus i was thinking he a descent fullback aswell, bit of a back up plan if ponga gets injured.I'd be comfortable with us paying $400k - $450k for Cody Walker. This would be a big increase for him and would be good value for money for us. We need a good ball runner in the halves and although Feeney has improved he's got a long way to go to be considered a regular first grader.
375K you reckon?
I don't think so.

The cap isn't $4m any more. That's "decent first grader" money these days.
Well with today's developments we probably get 18 months of cheap Ross and then someone else can pay him.
