Lillyman could do wonders for you guys. 240 NRL games and 14 appearances for Queensland (More coming). Definitely seems like the forwards leader you guys need at your club. Myles also a quality signing for a year or two.

Maloney I also like. I think with the loss of Gagai the Knights really do need to sign at least one current representative player for the 2018 season.

We have no need at all to go after peats, especially after resigning Levi until 2020.

Due to our lack of depth Levi has played a fair few 80 minute games, too many for his age, however, Levi appears to have what it takes to be a permanent 80 minute player hopefully next year or the year after. There is absolutely no reason for us to go after peats.

We should be looking at Michael Gordon. He is the perfect player to bring in to mentor Ponga next year. Move Ross to the centres and play Flash on the wing

Pass on Lillyman, Myles and Gordon.

If we are going to take a 1-2 year rental, they need to be to shelf, not just better than average.

Would rather have all 3 of them than none.

We aren't going to sign anyone else, and they can all upgrade current positions in the team.

Wouldn't mind Lillyman. Myles is about the same level as Starling these days and would be demanding decent money for the player he once was.
Gordon is a decent player but it seems a pretty pointless signing to me.

Wouldn't touch Myles. Wouldn't have Gordon above Ross or Sio at this point. Lillyman is having a good year and wouldn't break the bank. Signing a 33 year old prop will always be a risk though.

No to Myles - he's not even making the starting team at Manly and their front row isn't that good, he's only playing origin because he's been there before and Qld have that whole pick and stick mentality going on.

No to Gordon - he's good but I just don't think we need a fullback/winger at this stage

Yes to Lilliman - yes he's a risk but offering him 1 year and a 2nd year in our favour would be worth the risk imo. Provided we weren't offering too much.

I still think that we will be in the box seat soon for players approaching us wanting a contract- there will be a lot of undervalued players out there who miss out on the big dollars available next year with the increased salary cap.

Sure, the majority of them won't be a good fit for the club and purely after a pay day, but hopefully one or two can make it through the Brown/Mooney selection criteria.

All of you questioning the wisdom of Gordon, you do realise we are losing a starting centre for next year yes? We need to replace NRL outside backs and Gordon is about as good as is available

He can mentor Ponga, play on the wing or fullback and allow what we all want, to move Ross to centre

We already have a lack of quality centres, and Ross still can't score a gig there. Not sure that getting Gordon will convince Browny to play him there next year.
