Says the guy who rates the local boy Sione a far superior winger to the likes of Corey Oates, Alex Johnston, Uate.
Biggest load of horse poo I have read in my life.
Tell us more about all the reasons Lamb is better than Pearce

Chanel Mata’utia has been released from his contract, effective immediately.

Leaves already skinny depth in the backs even skinnier now. Hopefully there’ll be a few more signings to bolster the depth there

So with Chanel and Pauli unexpectedly gone, how much more cap space do we have now? We need signings fast.

Surely the bank is thrown at Pearce

I dunno , as far as wingers go i think we have enough

We certainly need some more centres though

If we sign another centre and SKD plays wing with Sio in Reserve Grade, we are fine depth wise in both centres and wing. But as of right now we are weak in both with SKD starting at centre and Sio on the wing (this is assuming Sione stays in the forwards). Beyond Sio we have Tom Hughes, Nick Meaney and...? Definatley need more outside back depth.

Come to think of it if we knew about Chanel earlier I think they might have kept Elliot.

The daily telegraph is saying that pearce visited manly headquarters today and believe he might heading to newcastle for a chat aswell,i guess its not completely locked in yet if he is entertaining the idea of having a chat with brown.all i can say is do whatever it takes to persuade him to join our club.give him 1.3 million if that what it takes. Players will want to come and follow after pearce signing.

Pearce is travelling to Newcastle today to hear Browny's pitch according to Paul Crawley. He's reluctant to leave Sydney but the money on offer at Newcastle will far trump what Manly and Cronulla can offer.

I reckon that he’s already signed with manly and is in the cooling off period. No idea why he’s even bothered to sit down with the Knights. Hopefully the $$’s convince him otherwise

Possibly manly tabled a shit offer and thinking maybe he will take the money.salary cap audit probably have him worried aswell.

I'm fine with Pearce coming to meet us if he's genuine but if he's just wasting our time ala Jack Bird, Matt Scott etc then I'll be pissed.

Bird was genuine about signing with the Knights and was all but signed. When it seemed like we were going to strike out on all of our other targets he got cold feet.

If he was genuine he would have signed regardless. Look at Aiden Guerra, he approached us and spoke with Brown and signed a deal with minimal fuss, even though at the time we still hadn't signed anyone since Ponga, he believed in what we were doing and wasn't influenced by any outside influences.

Are you for real?

Yep. If Jack bird was that keen to sign with us he would have signed. The fact that he pulled the pin when he didn't see immediate results from our recruitment drive tells me he wasn't that serious. Didn't seem like he took that long to change his mind after Brisbane came knocking at his door, also he was supposedly really torn because he wanted to stay in Sydney near his friends and family but ends up signing with a club in a different state let alone 2 hours up the freeway. To me the actions that Jack Bird took were not consistent with the stuff he was saying. So to me that leads me to question how genuine his interest was in the first place.
