I really like the idea of signing a specialist forward coach.

Given our significant trouble signing quality forwards we need to be at least trying to get the best out of what we already have.

We should probably throw a defensive coach in there too. While I really rate Browny in terms of many factors (roster building, identifying junior talent, attack and instilling an attitude of not giving up) the defensive structures need a lot of work and he and Potts need some help.

It’s nice to finally have money for such luxuries.

Don’t we need to sign a player or 2 before June 30 for a mid season transfer to be up to the minimum in salary cap spending?
Also, Lee is out of the blue but I don’t mind it. Give us more depth at the least.

Yeah that Edrick Lee signing really came out of nowhere didn’t it. I’m assuming we haven’t overpaid for him so I’m fine with the signing, definite upgrade on Ross/Sio. If we get Fergo as well then we’re looking pretty solid in the outside backs for next year. I wouldn’t mind another specialist centre but it’ll be hard to convince another decent one to come when we’ve already probably already got Ramien and Moga/Sione penciled in.

Don't think this would have any bearing on Fergo. Been said many times we were looking for a few more outside back signings and Edrick wouldn't be on big money.
