Klemmer.

Can't disagree with that. Mooney is a gun but the cautious approach means they're comfortable not being a real contender for a while. Hope everyone likes waiting.
Yeah the club appeared very cautious when signing Pearce (who was already under contract with the chooks), Ponga, griffin, guerra, Skd, Moga, ese ese ramian, lee etc etc etc. that doesn’t include all the players that we have had a real crack at that fell through because they didn’t want to leave Sydney.

Can’t argue with cobys point Tbo.

More concerned if Barnett is in the 13, or King in the 17, than if Sio is on the wing.
I'm with you on this, not a Sio fan but he has gone ok is not as weak link as others, Barnett has not produced this year and King has been disappointing and if we are to compete we need players that will push them back to reserves

Lamb isn't even top 5 reserve halves... he can go somewhere else.
That's ok if we can get someone just as good or better and if not we are better with him than without, just a matter of being realistic and not allowing bias into the decision, miss all about what is best for the club.

Gavin Orr is being a dick if he thinks the Knights should juat release Lamb. There is an easy answer to his value diminishing because of the number of games he has played in reserce grade thia year.

Play better and be a first grader ffs. Wtf ia it with thia generation?

Tevita has already told Knights officials he has no interest coming back home
So we can scratch him off the list.

I’m telling you we should go after Fifta.
Andrew Voss wrote in his column last year that young Fifta is the best schoolboy forward he has watched in his 20+ years of calling the competition.
We don’t want to take a punt on that?
We got rocks in our heads if we don’t chase him.
Sign them while they are still relatively cheap.

Shame Fifta has debut now.
Should’ve chased him hard before he debut.
Going to be a top 5 forward in the game.

I would take literally any other half for next season (other than Cogger) and it's a big call to let him go without a replacement but with the way he's playing we're honestly better off running out with 16. Same goes for Cogger...2 of the most physically gimped and talentless young players in the NRL.

Are you serious, even if right about Lamb and Cogger, 16 instead of 17, please keep it within the bounds of reality sure some players are not performing but do we need to make these statements under the guise of justifying opinions I am so over over exaggerated comments, any body is better than no one, did you have this opinion of Lamb towards end of 2017

Whoa there big Roosta...

Do you honestly think that say...Daniel Saifiti would be worse at half than Lamb or Cogger? They can't tackle, can't pass, can't kick, can't run...CAN genius. FULL genius.

I wouldn't run out with 16 but I absolutely would put a prop at half over these pair. They absolutely can not play...they have put in completely laughable performances this season. They single handedly killed any chance we've had to win in every game they've played in and couldn't possibly be any worse.

Lamb played well at the end of last season but that was either a dead set fluke with him playing at his absolute ceiling or he just doesn't want to play. Neither of these blokes can even kick the ball further than 20m and lack the basic physical attributes necessary to be successful in the NRL. They are also BJ dumb. They kill literally everything they touch and cannot possibly be defended. I think that letting them go is actually the only positive we can ever gain from them through act of sabotage. Absolute plonking plodders.

Literally anyone over Lamb/Cogger for mine. Sounds/is harsh, but they've earned it.

Ok, Cogger is gone for 2019 and Lamb likely to go. This year until Pearce, Ponga and Watson are all fit and playing we don't have much options so one or both might have to play. As for kicking Cogger is poor but Lamb has a much better kicking games plus goal kicking, can definately kick further than 20 metres. Agreed wouldn't play a prop at half so we need to get replacements but no point if not as good or better than Lamb and with no one showing up within club we will have to look elsewhere.

I'm sick of blokes making grade that can not make a tackle. Cogger has one of the worst kicking games I've ever seen in a 7. Lamb has a poor long kick. How bad are the young halves coming through when they don't have a basic skill set for their position. Piss them all off.

Funny thing is for Cogger, he is absolutely no chance of replacing the Dogs halves atm unless they have signed to play elsewhere next season.

As for Lamb, he could land a gig somewhere on low $$$ but as a back up half that the club will hope wont be used too often. He's slow, weak and a poor defender.

Who would want olayers like that??? Maybe the desperates which we are....... and we're happy to let them go.

Lamb is the type of player that Brown is referring to when he talks about being privileged. He should have been making his debut this year as cover for Pearce, not playing first grade two seasons ago. He has never demanded selection like some young halves or players at other clubs- he earned his position each week because no one else was available.

I get the feeling that, like Cogger, he’ll leave the club for not much money under the guise of the opportunity to play regular first grade, but will end up back in reserves and no different to the situation he finds himself in now.

Lurker reckons we are open to offers for Watsons services. Says we signed him up before we had Pearce, and that we're happy to keep him but also open to other clubs interest. This would give a bit of legs to us chasing Norman. It is the Lurker though, so grains of salt at the ready.

I wouldn't be shattered to see him go. I don't think his game is complete enough to be a great 5/8th... he's "good enough" when Pearce is round, but that's about the limit of it.

Also, Tapine can stay in Canberra at the price they put him at. Not the answer to any of our problems.
