It cant be. if true, the Roosters Sombrero is getting beyond a joke, it's not even funny anymore. It's starting to look like a square peg supposedly fitting into a round hole. We all know it's BS. Surely the NRL would investigate them and run forensics over their books. It's a really poor look for the integrity of the competition. .

I havent seen a roster like theirs since the last time the game got a black eye. The praise for Trent Robison is nauseating given the cattle at his disposal.

Cant figure out who I hate more - Manly, Broncos, Storm or Roosters.

Roosters are losing Fergo and likely to release Tupou. They front-loaded a lot of their contracts (shown by the 2 years they were hardly active in the market before Tedesco+Cronk signings) and will backend the likes of Crichton and Tapau with Cronk retiring next year. There wont be scraps (beyond Tupou but LOL) because they're just a brilliantly managed club with enough corporate support to outbid anyone.

Was hoping when the news broke that Bennett was keen to leave Brisbane early that TPJ would be more open to returning to Newcastle. Was hoping for a while that Bennett was just a reason to stay in Brisbane rather than just another Boyd situation where he would follow him regardless.

Article sounds good, we have the cash for him, his family is here, he grew up here. Not going to believe it or buy into the idea until he's standing at Mayfield with a jersey but still, exciting.

Hate to be that guy but...Rorts have ruled out signing Tapau stating they don't have room in the sombrero. He must really want out of the Scum. He may not want to leave Sydney but if he wants out of the Scum of the League, he may have no choice.

At least we're in the convo... Don't wanna get my hopes up too much but it's difficult not to get excited. A front row rotation of TPJ, Ese'ese, Glasby and a Saifiti is pretty good.

Just LOL that TPJ has even visited the club (and others) when all the Broncos supporters (including Woosh) were so sure he was already signed with the Donkeys and would never look elsewhere :joy:

His family is here ? If this is true surely we'd have to be in with a red hot shot at this. I believe he and Sione are still best friends as well ( godfather to Sione's kid ?) and when it comes to the cash we'd have to be in a position to blow them all out of the park.

What's he's true worth in the market ? On potential alone he is worth a small fortune, the kid could be anything.
