I'd hope Pearce prints this off and then hangs it on his locker as a reminder for each game.Putting it bluntly
If that doesn't motivate you then I don't know what would!

Problem is the harder Mitchell tries the more he stuffs upI'd hope Pearce prints this off and then hangs it on his locker as a reminder for each game.

Don't know if it's being too hard on a young player but I'm really trying to take note of Clifford this year and I don't see him as being our answer to halfback or 5/8th in the next few years.
Am I missing something? Anyone else have thoughts on what he's show in 120 minutes of footy so far this year?
I did consider that too. Hope you are right.I think a change of scenery will do him good, there’s been something not quite right at the cowboys for a while now.

I’m certainly not writing Crossland off already but you can’t compare the two. Clifford has shown promise at NRL level before where’s Crossland really hasn’t shown anything so far.Just a thought but funny how we see comparing Clifford and Crossland our possible future halves. Both not going as good as we would like but Crossland has now been tossed aside as poor performer with little future where Clifford is seen as potential good player. Both are young and inexperienced but will no doubt improve with further maturity and game time. We are less forgiving of our local product than the opposition team player it seems.
I thought both had fair games with Clifford playing for a poorer side, would like to see them competing in same game

Well he’s the quintessential knights player.Well were going to have to wait a few weeks cause Phoenix is likely to be out with injury/suspension

This is it for me. I didn't even notice that he was hooked on the weekend until it was mentioned on here. It's not that he's doing bad things - he's literally doing nothing at all.Thing that disappoints me about Crossland so far is that he seems extremely gun shy, last week I think he had 1 run and 1 kick in 75 minutes of football, if that's all he's going to contribute than we're better off just putting someone like Shibasaki in there who's a good defender.
I don't expect alot from Crossland at this stage but I'd like to see him at least have a go, take the line on, perhaps help out Pearce with the kicking game, I mean Mann isn't a natural half but at least you can't fault his enthusiasm
Promising Cowboys playmaker Jake Clifford has attempted to backflip on his move to the Knights in 2022.
Clifford signed a lucrative two-year deal back in November to make the move to the coalfields after expecting to spend his immediate future out of first grade.
Back then, the Cowboys halves were tipped to be Michael Morgan and Scott Drinkwater - but much has changed since then.
Morgan is set to retire with a nagging shoulder injury, while Drinkwater started the season at fullback ahead of glamour boy Valentine Holmes in a major selection surprise by Todd Payten.
As a result, 23-year-old local junior Clifford has started all three games to date for the Cowboys, prompting his change of heart.
Unfortunately for Clifford, the cooling-off period on his Knights deal has long expired and the Knights aren't about to let him out of the contract.
His change of heart will be denied all around but believe me - it happened.
