If he has ignored direction from - and abused - management of the club - Hayden Knowles, not just any old trainer - then maybe they are.Don’t pretend to know what the motive behind this is but it feels like the club are trying to shift him. Is this a compete overreaction by the club?
I suspected it was Knowles before I even read it based on the show cause notice. Perhaps the club has been told by Hayden he is off if it is not dealt with. Not like he’ll struggle for a start elsewhere. If he has ignored direction from - and abused - management of the club - Hayden Knowles, not just any old trainer - then maybe they are.
I know he’s passionate and busts his arse on the field, however his role in the club is bigger than that. He is influential, he is a leader. He’s there to help develop the next batch of forwards in the club. If he isn’t doing that, he might be better off elsewhere.
I hope the club and Klem sort things out.
Which came first though?I think the timing of all this makes the club look bad.
IF Klemmer has done something pretty ordinary then I would commend the club on taking a stance and not tolerating any crap.
It just seems so odd, 24-hours after they had lengthy discussions to loan him out to Parra, and then to announce this AFTER he was left out of today's team line-up announcement.
To me it sounds like yesterday's discussions went sour and this is the fallout.
So senior players get to act however they want without any ramifications on them?During the game, heat of moment, losing to the ex, losing to the previous worst team in the comp, no one else on the team trying at all. I totally get it why Klemmer lost it and blew up.
Gagai also blew up and got ten in the bin a couple of weeks ago. Seems like a running theme.
AOB has to go.

You said that two senior players weren’t acting like senior players, and then said the coach has to go.When did I say no ramifications? I said I totally get why he blew up.
Gagai spent a few seasons ‘blowing up’ at the refs every time he got tackled when at Souths. Along with Walker and Mitchell, he got use to giving refs a serve ad nauseum and it became part of his game.During the game, heat of moment, losing to the ex, losing to the previous worst team in the comp, no one else on the team trying at all. Jayden Berrell from Cronulla would be my choice if we were to look outside the clubI think we’re also forgetting that we need a backup hooker desperately. If Brailey goes down injured again (definitely not out of the question) then we simply can’t have Randle being the first choice fill in again. It’s a shame Watson left, he always did a pretty decent job when playing hooker.
Yeah Braith said similarJames Graham and Corey Parker said that players blow up at trainers and refuse to come off all the time, so there must be more to it.
