We're talking about throwing 50k at a bloke that could come in and work with the guys we have at the club, maybe play some reserve grade and fill a jersey for a few weeks while we wait for Milford to be available. A bloke that always had a dig. From there, you free up the rest of this years money for transfer fees for the English blokes we're looking at.

Having said that, I didn't realise he wasn't playing Cup anymore either.

To our halves issue? Maybe start with some realistic options like our current Cup boys or Milf

If we have a top 30 spot free and you're talking about bringing in a new player, maybe look at the NSW and Q cup ladder leaders and see if anyone stands out and offer them a gig

Literally anything is better than a washed up bloke who has barely kicked a ball in anger in years
