I like his chances of becoming a regular first grader more as a middle than as a second-rower/centre but my comment was more-so alluding to him replacing Jones i.e probably not top 17 but covers both roles off the bench when needed. Think his 2 best performances in first grade so far have both been in the middle too.

Yeah i think he could be a handy smaller middle with mobility abit like a Cotter/McInness type or being realistic probably more in the calibre of Kurtis Morrin/Kobe Hethrington.

If settles back in Newy, feel like the knights would entertain throwing him a cheap deal. Wouldn't be first choice centre or 2nd row, but perfect depth guy if he still has some left in the tank. Crazy he is still only 28.

Gagai/Best in centres, Frizell/KPP/Lucas in 2nd row + bench spot. Sione could be the next man up. Has Brodie signed for next year yet?

There's nowhere for him in the squad unless he's replacing guys like Croker or Jones. Would be good experience to have around our Cup guys for the most part. The squeels of anguish from slots might be worth the price of admission alone though yeah.
