Isn't the defensive frailties of the Fog the thing holding him back from fg? Or are there other problems? If defence is the problem then why buy Moses with the same problem?
Because Fogarty doesn't have the skill to be more than a backup, and you want your backups to have solid defence. Your top 17 halves are key players in your attacking structure so you're more likely to accept defensive shortfalls to fit them into your team.

Geez lots to catch up on with this thread in the last day!!

Personally I am not a fan of Moses. I think he'll be average but I really really hope I am wrong and much better judges than me think otherwise.

P.S Peni wont go anywhere I reckon, but then again, I am a big fan of him!

TBH I dont really rate Moses ... I suspect we will be disappointed down the track. He just seems like a skinny kid who isnt developing much tbh. 22 year olds should be pretty well developed these days.

Pfft .... what are you worried about Strides?

Everyone on here seems to be forgetting that this is a major Eels signing. I guarantee within 6 weeks of the start of next season, he will either suffer a career ending injury, be caught up in a betting scandal and banned for 10 years, reveal a drug problem where he needs two years of rehab or decide to relocate to Siberia for love and quit the game. Nothing surer.

You forgot to add sign with Dogs the next season for half the amount we were paying him

Yes the No.7 curse may well f**k us over again. Perhaps we should ask Toddy if our halves could be numbered 6A & 6B ?

JAMES Tedesco has sensationally revealed he is being courted by the Bulldogs and Roosters, and the reasons why he could leave Concord to join an NRL rival.
Speaking to local radio station C91.3FM early on Thursday morning, Tedesco was open and honest when questioned about his contract situation and the firestorm engulfing his Wests Tigers.

Tedesco’s future is a hot topic in rugby league at the moment, as he’s yet to commit to a club beyond 2017.

Tigers shouldn't get a player swap just because kent said so. Did we get a player from the Titans for Peats? A player from Canberra for Paulo?

Anyway the tigers just let their best junior forward go to manly without any fight, they don't deserve one from us.
Well then we have to be content with Moses starting in 2018. We /Moses have requested the early release not the other way around.

We had the choice to release Junior remember, as do the Tigers.

I reckon that Moses manager merkin must know that the Tigers are under 2017 cap pressure, hence the request. Still might happen I guess. Maybe the'y like a transfer fee ? We can pay them outside the cap and will only cost us a few days turnover from a pensioner fleecing pokie machine.

I Think it will happen but not til after we play them on Easter Monday, may even happen the week before but which the condition he doesn't play that game.

I think someone already said it - the Tigers saying no release are prob just ensuring they can get out of it as cheap as possible this season ... and yeah they wouldnt let him go until after we play them next week .... and they probably also want to get a chance to see what Cleary thinks about the rest of this season

They dont want him there if his heart/head is not in it ... and if they have a chance to set things up better for next season they should take it
