I don't think his will be a popular opinion but seeing as though we were on the hunt for a half which would push Guth to centre, I would have rathered we move Taka to edge forward and not resign Tep. Would have saved us a small fortune and Taka is under contract. I think would make a damaging edge forward.

I was replying to Pou you dopey merkin and his ridiculous post that he would give Moses a weeks rest. After his new excuse is our ruck defence has been so poor because we only have one decent kicking option.

I suppose if Moses does come in and it continues to be shithouse he'll have to come up with another excuse in just 5 days. He needs over a week at least.

I'm not stressed if he has a week off either. The team were cohesive yesterday.

IIRC Moses gets hidden in defence so BA will need to do a fair bit of restructuring and the team need to get their defensive patterns sorted.

We were cohesive yesterday???

You sure you watched the same game as me??? They were cohesive for about 11mins against the worst defensive side in the comp.

Cohesive in our halves yes. Much better than we were last week.

Defensive lapses hurt us against a very sharp attacking side.
And that had nothing to do with the quality of the defence?? Or lack of it???

Light and day what the Tigers offered up yesterday compared with the Warriors last week.

A mate of mine who follows the Roosters closely told me a couple of months ago Tedesco agreed to terms with the Roosters in the off season.

Who are we to believe???

I'm surprised that the Roosters could be out bid by the Dogs. Both have unlimited salary caps. My info could be wrong but my mate is usually pretty reliable

If the Dogs story is true, now the Roosters would have Josh Dugan in their sights..

I thought our search for a half would lead to Moeroa not being retained. I guess he can at least play in the middle.

True, although not as well as Brown. Perhaps he could take Scott's place in the side but I don't see him retiring early or getting dropped to Wenty any time soon.

It seems to me with the signing of Moses, he becomes surplus to demand and the cap space could have been better spent.

I reckon if we don't make the biggest signing of all time then it'll be chiefys fault and he should be publicly carstrated then tarred and feathered
Thought Foran was our biggest signing of all time, certainly our most costly signing. Gee that worked out well, the no. 7 curse strikes again! Welcome Moses.............to the scrap heap. What curse will the 7 put on him, already working on Norman. It let him have 2 good games and bingo, 5 shit ones. Like I said previously, we should scrap the 7 and have 6.5 on the jumper!

So any chance Scott gets dropped for Kenny Edwards return this week?
We haven't gone with a spare edge forward on the bench for the last 2 weeks (Scott/Vave/Alavaro/Terepo) so the only option for Edwards that would give us a similar feel as the last few weeks is Scott out, Edwards in and Tepai to stay on the right edge.
Didn't Scott pick up an injury in yesterdays game? Realistically Scott has been poor this year, move him to reggies and hopefully he retires at end of year. Waste of salary cap atm.

He's in our top 17 even if used exclusively at middle forward.
