We are the most powerfull club in the NRL. We are PARRAMATTA. We will have the BEST stadium of any NRL team. We have the whole CITY dedicated to our team. Unlike the roosters/souths.

People outside of Sydney do not realise but the money being spent in this city is massive. It will be the biggest city behind Sydney in 10 yrs. We are competitive. A team on the rise. A good board. And great history. Players would be lining up to play for us in future.

how would you know?

all you can conclude is the difference in their abilities which are clear. consistency is one difference, but there were many things lockyer did that moylan hasn't and can't

I'm with Pou. Lockyer was an exceptional talent, but put Moylan in the No.1 in this team and he would have been a superstar too.

We just got an email.

yep just saw it..wtf is going on with moses then,.

Kane Evans to join Parramatta next year on a three-year contract

Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club Pty Limited has signed towering Sydney Roosters prop forward Kane Evans on a three-year contract commencing in the 2018 NRL Season.

Kane made his first grade debut for the Roosters in 2014 against the Parramatta Eels.

“We’re excited to add more depth to our forward pack; Kane’s size and aggression adds another dimension to our playing squad for next season,” said Head Coach Brad Arthur.

The 25 year old is a Fijian international, New South Wales City and World All Stars representative.

I'm not the one claiming Lockyer is streets ahead of Moylan.

No it isn't clear. The only things that are clear are Lockyer's greater output and his superior team mates throughout the entirety of his career. Much like how players leave Melbourne and look ordinary, the quality of a player's team mates dictate how good he appears to slobs like you and me, but especially you.

right, so lockyers accolades and plaudits are all acheivement based...none based on individual ability?

you're a massive dribbler mate.

Actually he is closer to the truth then you would imagine.

Here is an example. When parra lose by 8-10 points. Perhaps a knock on, or a flukey try to the other team MOST people see 3-4 players that must be dropped and replaced. And your star players where just OK.

But if Parra wins with a flukey try and other team dropped ball or a 40/20 goes your way. The very same players are all excellent. Sometimes they have played exactly the same - Its just the bounce of the ball went the other way.

Lockyer played at a time when not every player was close to 100kgs+ At a time when someplayers where not at peak diet and training wise.
Just like many will say Eric Grothe was the best ever. Potentially he just trained harder. How do you think semi would go playing in the 80s?

Every player now that plays NRL is close to peak. There complete professional athletes. Most have small weaknesses. Guys like David Solomona wouldn't get a sniff. To many weaknesses.

I reckon Tanginoa if come along 10-12 yrs ago prob has a solid NRL career.
