We are the most powerfull club in the NRL. We are PARRAMATTA. We will have the BEST stadium of any NRL team. We have the whole CITY dedicated to our team. Unlike the roosters/souths.

People outside of Sydney do not realise but the money being spent in this city is massive. It will be the biggest city behind Sydney in 10 yrs. We are competitive. A team on the rise. A good board. And great history. Players would be lining up to play for us in future.
Yeah that all sounds super...

But will we have played a Finals series at any stage of that 10 year period you're on about??

Parramatta can have its new skyscrapers and powerhouse museum, fine dining and hoons down Church Street and some of the best knock shops in western Sydney - but it all means SFA until my team starts winning and bringing home a premiership FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be the roosters of the NRL. Our club was run by bell ends. It is now run properly. What happened last year was best for team long term. Players will be attracted to the club which will bring success.

Paul Kent said last night that even tho Penrith locked in there roster next year they may start shopping players around to get new players.
The Penrith forum has a blog about the club wanting to extend Griffin's contract.

And I heard last night or this morning, that they are already keen to lock Nathan Cleary up long, long term.... He's a decent prospect and all but geez, so was Luke Brooks 3 years ago... Best not to get too ahead of yourself in this game...

Agree, short another 1 or 2 big middle forwards plus dh. We don't appear to be in any hurry to sign anybody. Just hope others don't swoop in and get the best of the rest. Seen BJ Lailua's brother play in St George's reserve team we should go for him (I know a backrower) but big, plays big minutes, very creative and also a try scorer himself. Joe Ofangourie? & Jai Arrow still insigned by Broncos are just some of the options.
Are we waiting until cap sorted and hoping clubs have to offload players? If so they will only offload the worse of their top 25.

vince leilua i'm sure re-signed earlier this year after a stand off and dogs went after him

pretty sure jai arrow re-signed as well, if not has no interest leaving brisbane

joe o is on the outer because he's a meathead already with drink driving and his recent casino misdemeanour. not sure living away from his family would help him progress his career

I saw that. He was playing blackjack or Texas Holdem at Jupiters. Won a hand and slipped a $100 chip under his $15 chip when the dealer wasn't looking. The camera dude upstairs was but.

It happened at 5.45am BTW. PKent's head would have exploded if he was one of ours.

moylan has bought his own tickets i reckon, he's listened to too many lockyer comparisons and forgotten that's he's already 26.

time is not on his side, the potential he showed lockyer was already doing that at 18. no wonder he's been setup to fail.
Moylan is an elite playmaker. If he played in a team as good as Lockyer's he would have achieved as much.

Whenever I go back to Parramatta I'm amazed by how much nicer it is. When I grew up it was a hole.

you're dreaming. that just makes you look like you've never watched the game at all.

i'm as blues as they come but living up here i'm able to appreciate lockyer's ability for what it is, in his early days he would break the line at will. his footwork makes moylan look reserve grade level, he had a competitive fire almost jordan like. something moylan doesn't understand and probably never will

They will be more likely to offload the players other clubs want.

Brooks was top five for LBAs last year. He is a fine playmaker.

Lockyer played in a team so much better than all the others that he got endless opportunities to run the ball while experiencing minimal pressure in defence.

My point is how would you know? I see Moylan doing the same things Lockyer did, but less often due to less support from his team mates.

how would you know?

all you can conclude is the difference in their abilities which are clear. consistency is one difference, but there were many things lockyer did that moylan hasn't and can't
