I even mentioned tribal psychology which probably didn't register in your primal mind. At the end of the day you are not successful just because the team is successful. You are not the Eels, you are just a consumer that pays money to watch people that are good at something perform. You can like doing or watching something and have an opinion on something all while being outcome independent.

Holding this view is called being in a position of power. You should try it out man, you won't be as combative anymore. This is just entertainment, divest your ego from it. Applies to all areas of life. It's all a game brother. It's why I can appreciate Hayne's success while others still go mental at the mere mention of his name. It's why I don't automatically hate every coach and halfback that has left the club over the last decade just because they didn't get a premiership. At the end of the day it's all just
