Sorry Bart but are you serious? Do you look for "chicken little sky is falling shit" in everything that happens?
One implication is that Chedid was paid an executive level salary to be the CEO of the Premiership Club which met none of its objectives and has no doubt been shut down. Let's save $300k by releasing the CEO and his EA from a redundant part of the company.
Another implication is that the media team has been unable to meet the objectives of their manager and he decided to restructure his team and bring in a new lot of people with the experience and skills that he wants in his team.
But no, let's spin it that maybe some back office redundancies are a trigger for BA to exit his contract early.
Maybe not Jake, might not be about money at all. It's funny how the club blew money on their legal case against the NRL. Hundreds of thousands wasted on absolute legal bullshit from the previous management money which could've possibly saved jobs. Then you think about the other half million wasted On the USA junket. That's a million dollars right there down recklessly. Thank god the f**kwits a re gone.
I feel sorry the kids in the media dept that got the sack. It could've been avoided.
Those are on off costs. Ongoing costs are the real budget killer. That's why employees have been sacked. It's funny how the club blew money on their legal case against the NRL. Bullshit.Redundancies are always about the $$$$
Our media posture is obviously of massive importance. The people we've had in those roles have seemed like they were doing an assignment for uni.I stand by my claim that the job losses in the media department will be replaced with other roles more suited to what the Head of Communications and Brand wants, therefore there will not be significant cost savings in that area directly.
I've been in one. It's not always directly related to money. It's more about efficiency than just saving money, also some times it's about cutting loose some dead wood, or wanting to take the company in a different direction that maybe the current employees aren't right for.Bullshit.
How many companies have you managed a restructure process that resulted in redundancies in?

I've been sacked from about a dozen jobs and I'm certain none of them were about money.
