Wasn't there talk that we were looking at Adam Elliot a while back?
Could snare him fir $100k/season, leaving the Dogs to pick up the other $50k...
It's funny how he's turned to shit after he re-signed. I can't see him as an improvement on any of our backrowers.
David Klemmer is the only player from that pack that I would be interested in.

Or a heavily discounted James Graham would be a great pickup too.
Still reckon Graham would be a great pick up. Needs a change and probably has two good years left in him.
We really lack a forward leader.
a please let us cheat proposal
he's a decent player but after watching Alvaro steam roll him for his try against the doggies, I've gone off this bloke
Klemmer is the merkin that would improve our squad the most imo
He's playing like an old man this year. I would be very cautious.
Yep. If a premiership window is about to close and you didn't win your premiership (like us between '05 and '09) it's tempting to double down and give it one last push.same way we did backended contracts
How about letting them be $400k over next year and then $10k under for the next 40 years?Play 400k over next year but 100k less the following 4 years???? WTF. What kind of proposal is that???
Obviously stats don't tell the future picture but for an old man, he aren't going to bad , around 120m / 34 tackles a game (don't have game time) in a shit attacking side !!
Graham is still a quality first grader. His defence is still very good and his attack is better than a couple of our blokes'. He's probably worth $500k but he is 32 this year. He's on the decline but you'd think he has another two years of NRL in him.I agree on Klemmer and he would be my preference but the dogs seem more likely to release Graham.
The dogs have been poor for a while, gee look at Moses defence with tigers compared to us. A change can make a massive difference.
Anyhow on Graham, I reckon our squad is looking good, we just lack a real quality leader in the pack and Graham is the best option probably available!!
How much he wants is less important than how much the highest bidder is willing to pay. I doubt he'll retire just because the highest offer is $500k (for example). He'll want $800k+
But for half that price he starts to look pretty good. He'll want $800k+. I'd rather look for a younger guy. Anyway we signed (?) another prop this week so says Nathan Ryan.
