Reg had heard them all before..I had an afternoon with him in Canberra when I managed the Country team in 1981, and Reg and Allan Marks were commentators for ABC. All the Country players were at a BBQ at a Canberra pub, and Reg and Alan came along to aquaint themselves with the players for the call.

I have always liked the guy, but I reckon with Kane Evans and Tony Williams to add some bulk to our pack, Timmy will thrive, and play longer minutes (because he won't have to be our most consistent performer).
