I want too see guys who are angry and fire up.
Look call me a simple dimwitted imbecile BUT Zwhen Packer KO little Kaysa what I wanted to see next was our bigger powerfull forwards running in a smackn him on the jaw. Then rush up in defense and belt the hell out of whoever took it up even if it cost us a penalty.
That happens at sharks and Fifita and Gallen are there grabbing them by the throat and letting them know not to f**k with us. Its intimidating. What I saw realy dissapointed me. And yes im sure Someone will call me what I asked for.
I definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree to an extent, but not because of intimidation (I doubt any NRL players are intimidated by opposition) - but because reacting that way displays solidarity, and camaraderie.
If one of our players is collected by an illegal play (and I'm not saying Packer's elbow was one), then it's a great sign of a tight-knit team if they go to their mate's defence.
I think right now, the team is demoralised, and they want to try to be professional first, and aggressive second.
Cut out the stupid penalties, stop turning the ball over as much - and we will see a massive improvement.
I am not expecting a win against the Panthers, but if we focus on our discipline, I'm sure we can compete with them.
