I would too, but Moeroa starting.

I like Scott and can't see him being dropped, but Peni probably offers as much "playing wise" even more with a better running game.

I too would like Moeroa starting. I reckon he's been the best forward defensively (anecdotally). I'd also have Niukore starting with Williams off the bench and Edwards in reserve grade. But that's just me, I understand that Kenny brings energy and ball playing but Niukore has less nonsense in his game.

He brings a lot more go-forward than any other forward we have.

He's had the misfortune of coming off the bench for us when we are defending, so he hasn't shown his true value - but he's a much better attacking runner than anyone else in our side.

100%. If only he could've been lucky enough to come on the field in the last 20 minutes last week like T-Rex did. He might've also been able to crack 100m if he only had to make 5 tackles.

There are different types of big and powerful. Fui was of the wide stockier type. But what made him the awesome destructive force that he was, was his full on speed and momentum when carrying the ball. Speed as they say is also power. Who in our team comes even close to running like that on EVERY hit up?

I can't remember exactly what it was, but when they measured Fui's velocity on impact, it was like being hit by a numerous amount of refrigerators.

2009 I remember the duke saying Hayne is a superstar but this guy moimoi he is not to be sold short. The guy is a weapon.
Evans is a pea heart. Terepo has a real go.Anyone recall him tearing his pec stopping Teddy last season? Gives 100%
Evans was let go by roosters cause of this reason. Pou says they dropped him cause signed with us. Thats bullshit. A clib like that had a chance to win title and if he was seen as part of the top 17 he would of been picked in the finals.

Untill Evans gets more attitude he will just be one of those guys who looks good when things are going your way.

Has anyone ever been hit by a refrigerator? I wonder how they measured it?

As a young bloke I stuck my tongue on the inside of refrigerator door. It become stuck due to the cold. It was quite a dilemma, I couldnt yell and couldnt move. In end i ripped it and drew blood.
Lesson learned.

Who said they can play? I don't rate them. The balance of that team is off.
They’ve got some big forwards though. A couple of Origin players, premiership winners. They can play. Their weakness is their edge defence, not their pack. The Warriors carved them up out wide.

I want too see guys who are angry and fire up.

Look call me a simple dimwitted imbecile BUT Zwhen Packer KO little Kaysa what I wanted to see next was our bigger powerfull forwards running in a smackn him on the jaw. Then rush up in defense and belt the hell out of whoever took it up even if it cost us a penalty.

That happens at sharks and Fifita and Gallen are there grabbing them by the throat and letting them know not to f**k with us. Its intimidating. What I saw realy dissapointed me. And yes im sure Someone will call me what I asked for.

He was picked in the finals and they won. Then they had a week off and they dropped him. And lost.

Anyway, they weren't the only team to underestimate the Cowboys - but but they were missing Scott and Thurston! Those old merkins are their two worst players this year.

He will look good when we have the ball and less good when we don't. Just like every player who's in the team for his attack.

I definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree to an extent, but not because of intimidation (I doubt any NRL players are intimidated by opposition) - but because reacting that way displays solidarity, and camaraderie.

If one of our players is collected by an illegal play (and I'm not saying Packer's elbow was one), then it's a great sign of a tight-knit team if they go to their mate's defence.

I think right now, the team is demoralised, and they want to try to be professional first, and aggressive second.

Cut out the stupid penalties, stop turning the ball over as much - and we will see a massive improvement.

I am not expecting a win against the Panthers, but if we focus on our discipline, I'm sure we can compete with them.

Yes and if we had some big palookas that can play that would of happened and we might have even been 4 and 0...without a doubt.

Way to totally miss the point. I am saying that even with our minuscule pack, we could easily have won 3 games if we had some ball.

I reckon that's the attitude we started the year with and it's cost us big time. In many ways it's just another shortcut - aggression is no replacement for toughness and hard work. Arthur alluded to it after the Cowboys game as well.

All the push and shove shit is fine if you don't lose your composure.

Not true. Aboriginals, generally in the backs due to size, are awesome players and can play with real steal, tenacity and brilliance. Islanders and Maori's are also great, brilliant and powerful players. My only issue though is when there are to many in the one team that they have that bro culture that is way to chilled for a long term successful team to triumph.

Obviously there are exceptions. But a coach is taking a huge gamble that the chilled attitude won't creep in if the team has a lopsided balance of those players. All you need to do is add a negative influence like Corey Norman into the mix and there goes the attitude totally.

We still don't have any real leaders in our squad that can change the negative behaviour and attitude that some players may bring into our system.

Like the reason BA bought Watmough and then Scott?
