So the article above indicated that BA said he wasn't interested in any of the Titans halves. Obviously in reference to a response to a question at the media conference

I think we need to find someone to play 7 that is going to be able to cope with the pressure of being the number 7 at Parra.

I also don't care when players are off contract, if we want a bloke next year who is signed until 2020 and he wants to come next season I'm sure we will get it sorted.

If that's the case wait until 1 November and go after Mitchell Moses. I have not seen a player with a sweeter kicking game in a long time.

Also maybe Martin from the panthers could be an option. The panthers have two fullbacks in Moylan / Watene-zelezniak and two halves Cleary / Martin, someone may price themself out of the club soon - a club can't afford to have 4, top 13 spine options for 3 spots.

I probably think Green is actually the ideal option to be honest. There won't be the same sort of expectations on him, by the fans or media, as there would be with someone who was a big money signing.

If Foran stayed we wouldn't need to sign a halfback (or a fullback). If Hayne had signed we would still need a halfback.

But I think that after the NRL added Foran's TPAs to our cap his price went from what we offered Hayne to what the Titans are paying him. So if he hadn't left it probably would have made it harder to retain the players Arthur mentioned.

Bullshit, we can sign whoever we like, whether they're under contract or not. It will all come down to how much we're prepared to pay someone.

Although I don't think this will happen at all, if we suddenly decided to pay The Plane more than the Titans are going to pay him next year he will be in Blue and Gold in 2017.

I mean from 2018 onwards. The 4 or 5 off contract that BA was talking about yesterday .

I am guessing we would have struggled to keep them all but the amount offered is what Foran was supposed to be under the cap for.

We will probably struggle to keep them anyway but the statement from BA will go along way to doing it.
