LolPou's back baby !
Mate, our coach has been blessed with all the positive stories by the media and players constantly praising him as a great mentor, bla, bla, bla...
Our club by all reports is now stable and professional and we can always pay the bills, unlike some other clubs that have always struggled. We play out of one of the best club grounds, and soon to be the best in the league. We finished 4th last season which so many of you hang your hat on. So what exactly is our problem in trying to get players to the club? How is any of the previous issues with management impacting our recruitment of today?
You are a dribble, one of many on this forum so there is no need to feel alone. Dribblers will clasp onto anything to justify their misguided excuses.
Mate, we got drilled on the weekend by a one man pack(Fifita). But excuse whores like you will look at the close 2 point difference at the end and say we were just of the pace a little.
But I say, the coach has totally stuffed up and he is getting what he created. He needs to own it.
He seems to think a middle forward is a decent replacement for a winger.
I think it's funny that anyone thinks Semi is actually replaceable, tbh.
No other winger in the game does what he can. Not one.
We aren't stable. We haven't even got a board. It's been two years FFS
You just refuse to see relevant reasons for anything. You're a classic internet personality, everyone but you is a "sheep" (or a dribbler in this case) and only Rammy can see how it really is. But the fact is, you won't see past what you've set your mind on.
Talking footy with you is like trying to tell a neckbeard that chemtrails aren't real. In your case, any circumstance that has hampered us is just an excuse, and anyone who can see the reasons we are still repairing the club on and off the field is a "dribbler". Not Rammy though. Rammy is woke as f**k!
Clubs that have been in a similar position take YEARS to be competitive again, in a meaningful way. We were lucky, we were almost done with our onfield repairs when the cap issue hit, so the core of the squad was pretty decent. We weren't Newcastle in that regard. There are a lot of reasons for this, but the basic one is very simple; image. Big name players don't want to be associated with clubs that have the image we do. Businesses don't want to be connected with clubs that have the image we do. That means you struggle to attract genuine stars until you demonstrate stability, real and meaningful stability, not "appointed administrator" stability. There's less TPA money available to compete and the image of better clubs is attractive to big name players.
If you refuse to see that, I'm afraid I'm not the dribbler...
Marata played prop for Wenty last Saturday. Either or MJC but he must be included this week. Fingers crossed. If nothing else it will add some interest to the game.Actually that's not hard.
Drop Penishands and move the Chairman or Moeroa to 13 and start Marauder on the available edge.
When was the last time you saw headlines of "Parra in Crisis' in reference to our current management?
Oh yeah it's been around two years ago since those types of headlines. You know, in our past. Something that is irrelevant to the present day footballer that is more concerned about pay packet and quality of roster when making these decisions. Now no one can tell me that a quality fronrower would consider playing with the likes of Norman, Moses, Gutho, Gennings and French a waste of their toil and not be salivating to know he has those sorts of players that can finish off what he and hopefully the other palookas in the pack can start.
But you keep harping on our instability as a club. Righty oh then. Dribbler.
Auva'a can do it which is why he started the year on the wing. The problem is he's not a winger, which hurts us in defence. Hayne and George Jennings are both wingers plus they can make metres. What do wingers like Valentine Holmes and Sosaia Feki do so well for the Sharks as an example or Semi did when he was here smartarse? The start your sets on the front foot. Who does that for us now? And then it is only compounded when our dominated forwards chime in.
I did't say, signing anyone is a guarantee, especially someone under contract, but salary cap pressure is there and if we can finagle our way into luring him across, then why not? That is what great deal makers can do. Are they always successful? Of course not, but they try the seemingly impossible and sometimes pull it off. Like I said, noting ventured nothing gained.
But of course there is the other more obvious option, Klemmer. All the press at the moment are saying that the dogs won't be able to move forward, unless they let at least one of their big name player go. Why not romance him. A player that should of been playing for us all along anyway, but at 15yrs was playing in the 3rd grade level comp and being ignored. The Dogs scouts weren't that silly and offered him greater honours if he went over to them. Not surprising at all really.
Well maybe we can somewhat rectify that a little by taking advantage of their misfortune at present. But then again, I doubt it. If Klemmer were to be available, the Roosters would get their man not us.
TheRam certainly can’t identify a replacement.I think it's funny that anyone thinks Semi is actually replaceable, tbh.

Holy shit it’s a zombie! He can bulldoze better than most wingers. Anyway Radradra wasn't a front rower. His best work was beating players one-on-one, which Hayne can also do when fit. Finally picking him on the wing was a great move. It's just unfortunate he's injured.
By his own admission his fitness is down due to a disrupted pre-season.
He's the same size as Junior Paulo though. He's certainly fat enough for you.

But a few are closer to it
Oates,Mansour,Ropana,Cotric
BA got it all wrong.
He thought our pack was capable.
He thought Hayne was a bargain at 500k.
He thought goal kicking isnt important.
He over valued W.Smith
He over valued King
He over valued Evans,Matagi,Vave. I tell ypu now even the last 2 would not of come cheap. Both come as better players and went downhill.
Ignoring everything else, which goalkicker would you have signed?
Hayne isn't ideally suited to any position. But wing (and centre and fullback) are his best. In our team he is most valuable on the wing.Pretty sure you’ve said Hayne’s a centre in the past (like 3 months ago)
