He was fit at the beginning of the year. In fact staff were raving about how good he was going in February.

More deflection, he was apparently tearing it up in the pre season.

Now he wasn’t fit enough and we should judge him when he is fit lol.

Unless of course, you deal in hindsight.

Evans' best game in blue and gold was the trial v Newcastle. He looked the goods that day but hasn't looked anything like that in the top grade since. Physically, he has the ingredients, I can only think it's an attitude adjustment he requires to bring those types of performances out every week... But like Matagi in that respect ..

So he was fit in the trial and then miraculously lost his fitness in two weeks???
