If the club does that they are as weak as piss, no wonder player discipline is atrocious on and off the field.

Time for the club to stand for something.

Perhaps you should reflect on what Mitchell Pearce has done in his career compared to Kenny. Roosters hung onto him and he would still be there had Cronk not fallen in love with a Sydney lass.

Kenny will not lose his job over a drive whilst suspended charge etc. Even evade police will just get you $1k fine in court.

My cheify bold prediction is that If the club think that they can use his cash better, then he will get punted. Otherwise get use to him being part of the furniture for a bit longer.

I am not denying his rap sheet, but facts are that clubs dont lose players they want to keep.

They will stand him down Indefinitely if they want him for 2019. Send him off to Mitchell Pearce’s Thai rehab shop.

Do you think we want or need Kenny Edwards?

Whether 'we' keep him or not would be whose decision? Arthur's alone? Or would there be others involved in that decision?

I think the answer to that lies with what players are quietly on the market right now. If BA sees him adding value to our squad. Does he chew up a lot of the cap ?

Are you serious??? Lol and anyway who cares what other clubs do??

I’m talking about our club and it’s standards and what it stands for. The bloke is an absolute liability on and off the field and can’t be relied on. How many last chances do you give someone???

Mate not sure why you have taken the moral high ground over this. I assume you want him out bc you find him surplus to our needs.

I wonder if the same MHG would apply to say Pongia if he was in our squad and running amok. I bet not.

Mate the nrl will take kenny"s long record into consideration.

*Sacked from manly
*Sacked from stgeorge
*banned for inciting violence in lower level Southport
*Charged and fined for drunken behavior gold coast, shaped to shake hands only to knock out the person.
*9 month nrl ban for urine swap
*domestic violence guilty - 6 weeks
*driving whilst unlicensed, fleeing police, not telling the club.

i very much doubt you'll see him in an eels jumper again

Does this Thai rehab shop have a happy ending?

Pur the house on it gronky.
Name the last player who got 2 years other than a wada ban?

Bubbler Boy and the merkins who have done time. Anyone else ?

Kenny is no angel but hardly a comparable precedent.

Why should Arthur have a say??? One of the biggest problems at this club is the coach having far too much say and having far too much on his plate.

Surely the CEO should be making some tough calls???

Gronk if you want a bet that he has played his last game for Parramatta, name the amount.
He'll be indefinitely deregistered

I love kenny as a player, he's our only decent impact off the bench, i love his enthusiasm, he's a funny character with cuddles and cramps. I wish he could stay, but it won't be happening imo

He has been good for 18mths

Look at the situation like this.

Someone was sick and needed something from shop. Kenny was the only one there so he puts himself on line to go get some medicine. On his way back he misses his turn and and next chance does a u turn. Something we all would do.
Cops turn around, he panics and knows if gets caught he looses career and income to provide for kids.
Not thinking straight he jumps out of car and runs so he could protect his family.

Bit of a super hero if you ask me.

Maybe club should give option half of his wage goes to his childrens future if let him stay.

As much as I like Edwards, he should be sacked if the charges are proven. A standard needs to be set and he has had plenty of chances.

Also it’s not like Edwards is a key player in our side. While it’s an easy option to made some changes to the side for 2019.

Additionally an extra $300k or so to spend on a another player is handy.

Know one knows the circumstances.

I dont see the running from cops part a big deal. He would of panicked knowing what was at risk.

The issue was driving in first place. But we dont know why he felt need to and sre just guessing.

Wtf???

When he was left out in round 1 I blew up deluxe, so stop talking shit.

I’m one of those crazy people who think last chance should mean last chance. What message would it send to the playing group and NRL if we let him get away with it yet again???

Hero? Don’t think so, he has a suspended licence for a reason - try explaining it to a victim if Edwards hit someone while driving suspended.
