A term used by people who are not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. They are probably meaning something such as quarter or perhaps even crater. Quater can also be used as term for the people that are dumb enough to use the word quater.

Smith, Slater and Cronk were already at the Storm when Bellamy arrived, though Slater and Cronk had yet to play first grade. The question then becomes how much they were developed and how much they were always going to be great. I think the biggest factor is that they spent their careers together, or at least 14 years of it.

Identical. Cleary in his last year had heaps of injuries and didnt make finals. Same things happening to us.
But Griffins had heaps and has team still in 2nd....Maybe a softter draw at time of injuries though

I don't rate Madge very highly. He is one dimensional coach, who couldn't or wouldn't adjust or adapt to the players that he had after the 2014 season. Just a hard nosed angry disciplinarian merkin that will get the decks polished and spotless by the crew with fear as the main motivator, but eventually will wear thin.

Agreed. Also very loyal to his players and continued to back them to his own detriment. But like, BA probably didn't have a lot of alternatives that he could call upon.

Maguire was boxed into retaining the Burgii and struggling to get them to adapt to game changes post-premiership. The game has since swung back towards that style and Cook has emerged as an ideal capitalist of the Burgii strengths. It's not a simple comparison but I reckon tactically they'd be in an identical or better position if Maguire was still coach, just the man management/motivation aspect may or may not make them worse with Maguire

Well if we made it through to the Grand Final and lost then BA would be at 48.6% and have a higher percentage than Cleary (if we had won, he would be at 49.5%.
Therefore, he would be a better coach of course.

By the way, Cleary's career coaching numbers are actually worse 281 games, 133 wins for 47.1%
