Norman has been taking the piss since he got here. When he failed to find touch last Friday it was the last straw. He is an immature mental midget.

Remaining Games:

ROUND 12 Broncos
ROUND 13 Knights
ROUND 14 Cowboys
ROUND 15 Rabbitohs
ROUND 16 Dragons
ROUND 18 Knights
ROUND 19 Bulldogs
ROUND 20 Rabbitohs
ROUND 21 Titans
ROUND 22 Dragons
ROUND 23 Storm
ROUND 24 Cowboys
ROUND 25 Roosters

I can see us maybe beating Knights twice, Titans once and Dogs, but that's about it to be honest.
I see 6 games in there we are a good chance but we won’t win them all. Then surely at least once hopefully twice we upset a team because they are off or we are really on. So 6 is not beyond the realms of possibility

No I think Norman is a negative influence in the group. I’m just not sure we should try to move him on before his contract expires.

So what I mean is that while I think he’s a bad influence, I don’t know how bad. I do think he is very talented though, and on good money, and releasing him before next year would mean we’re paying some of it. Plus we would need a decent replacement, and possibly only for 2019 if Salmon or Dylan Brown are the future.

Norman is still here because the club has been happy to put up with his indiscretions and I'd imagine have probably even hidden some of them from public view to keep him out of harms ways of the media.

If we wanted him gone we'd just cut the strings and sit back and wait for the next indiscretion to occur and then punt him, just as we have done with his mate Kenny.

There is no way Norman would last the season if the Club no longer thought he was worthwhile. He couldn't help himself.

Norman was f**king awesome in 2016 before we re-signed him. Also while he was off the rails. And that's the problem with some blokes; they perform better while behaving like ratbags in their free time. They try and go on the straight and narrow and they lose whatever it is that drives them.

Which is shit when you need them to be part of a team and follow the same rules as everyone else. Also when you're trying to appease sponsors and the NRL.

Which big-name Parramatta Eels star is about to be given permission to talk to rival clubs even though he is under contract next year? There is one major issue however — the player is on double the money he could earn elsewhere and is unlikely to get an offer.

If any truth to it my guess would be Jennings. He apparently is on $700k+ and I doubt he’d get $400k on the open market now. Could he Norman but as an experienced half in form or not he’d still be worth $600k+

Mannah?

The DT has a very loose definition of "big name" and "star" and I can see Jennings still being attractive to several clubs at least

Mannah is on chump change though given his long term cap discount. We’d be lucky if we pay him $250k on the cap. We wouldn’t be able to replace him for less than that.

Other than Jenko or Norman, only other players it could be imo would be French or Tepai

Jennings doesn't need permission to look for a new club. He's technically off contract, as he has an option in his favour for next season.
He'll surely activate the option for the reasons you stated though.

Winning two from eleven.

What was the coach wrong about? More to the point, what were the fans right about? That we would have so many injuries this year? It happens. Everyone knew it was possible, including the coach.

Here you are, still thinking you know the reasons for our lack of wins this year. Whatever those reasons were, they didn't stop us winning last year. The only difference this year is that we've lost a winger and had plenty of injuries. So the solution (in hindsight) was to buy a winger and not have any injuries. Hayne is one of the best wingers ever to play Origin. As for injuries, how do you prevent them? I'm sure Arthur's would love you to answer that for him.

The rot of this team started in around the 60th min of the very first game of the year, you bullshit artist. Way before any major injury toll started to be a factor.

You have been sweating on the injury toll to climb, you pathetic gibberer, so you can trot it out to justify all your crappy excuses and analysis. Like I've said before, many of us here knew, suspected and thought that we were weak up front. The coach is paid handsomely to get it right. He got it ridiculously and insultingly wrong.

Now we, the tragically long suffering Eels supporters, have to sit here and hope, pray that this fool can get it right for next year. And when he fails again next year, we will hope, pray that our legendary management get it right when they fire his arse and hire someone that can f**ken do his f**ken job well!

What a f**ken disgrace! I mean I have to sit and bare another crappy f**ken season on top of the 3 plus decades of mostly crap that has come before.

My patience is shot. I f**ken hate this clubs endemic failure to succeed and its inability to hire the best people to get it right and cultivate a truly lasting winning ethos. We are from top to bottom rotten to the core. No wonder we have the most wooden spoons of any club. Is it any surprise to anyone really? Just a f**ken loser of a club. Constantly chirping like a heavy weight champion who laughingly gets knocked out in the very first round like chump.

F**ken BA has f**ked us well. What a legend.

If there’s any Truth to it, I’d say Jennings as well. He’s been average this year, and I can’t see us getting any value out of him next year if he was here.

Does this make me the smartest here. I have a 2nd team and they are sitting 2nd.

The irony.

My season is still alive Ram.

Btw you reckon EL diko had a wet dream over my new avatar?
