Tamou and Merrin will be soon. Money to move and more juniors will pop up. I think they are top 2 in under 20s and have more talented youngsters in Nsw cup

Just admit it mate, 3 years was always a massive risk for a non starting player in evans. To think he would come in and automatically nail down the 8 jumper would have been incautious.

Most could have lived with a one year deal with another in our favor, but honestly a 3 year contract to a bench player in Evans was a irrisponsible decision imo

3 years and above should only be reserved for the top 30 or 40% of players, and I'd say Evans was in the bottom 15% of NRL players undoubtedly.

Signing Evans wasn't the problem - it's the length of the deal.
It's not hindsight either, many initially mentioned 3 years was too long

Just about every winger in the game does that when faced with numbers.

Almost every time you're better off asking how the winger was left in a 2 on 1 situation by his inside men than asking why the winger ran infield.

That’s just off the top of my head, Mau is on the downward slope and Tep hasn’t come on at all. A lot of our young blokes bar Alvaro seemed to have stalled. That says to me poor coaching and poor systems in place for young blokes to flourish.

Since off bench Mannahs forms been top 5 in nrl for bench forwards.

Firstly all bar Evans' contracts were done by people no longer at club and none of them saw out the completion of their contracts therefore your figures are heavily inflated particularly for Scott.
Secondly 4 players on 'overs' therefore means all future signings must be on overs as well? Was Brown on overs when he signed as well? What about Hayne given that he took half what he was guaranteed at Tits?And looking at other teams that I assume you just think sign players on 'unders' just because they aren't us... Is Cronk/Tedesco on unders at Rorters? What about all those Origin players at Dogs, Cows, Manly & Newcastle are they all on unders? Or on the flip side how about old man Bunji at Tiges? He's clearly on overs. What's Ben Hunt's contract at Dragons worth again?

If ferguson has signed id be happy with our recruitment and team going into 2019.
I personaly prefer we kept Norman then get say Austin. I like Norman skill.

That is 2 high quality players and a project guy. Gutherson should be lot better next season. Rare to see a guy fire first season back from a knee reco.

People want to sign T rex again. I'd move on from him.

Whats peoples thoughts on GL. I dont see him as an NRL player and question why BA had him in the development squad. I havent seen a lot of Stone but from what heard didnt do a whole lot. Being in such a poor side it would be hard though.

I expect GL to fizz out.

DOnt get me wrong, I would love a top hooker but from a glance he is a free agent and add's lots of spark in attack and can be used whilst Mahoney develops.
