So if Parra played perfect its only fair to say what if Knights played perfect. Vaves try was embarrasing.Moses was lucky .
Knights still made 9 errors and missing Ponga. Even with him they are one of worse teams in comp. Look at the points differential. We where not playing the storm.
Our squad is as good as Souths or Warriors or Dragons.

Difference for me is this -
Mgregor had a style in mind. Tough and grind. Built a squad to suit it.
Seebold inherited a team. He moulded a style to suit his players strengths.

We have guys like Bevan, Hayne,Mj,Moses,Norman. Yet BA wants to grind. This isn't the style of players if want to grind.
If wanted to grind you buy big strong guys and halves like Pearces style. Not Moses.
You get a hooker like Lichaa etc
With small mobile forwards you dont f**king grind. You play fast expansive footy ffs with lots of offloads

Imo we played our best footy when throwing ball around.
Like against tigers when down by 20 or so. Grinds good if have smart players. We shoukd be trying to replicate the 2003 Panthers. We cant grind so you score 30 we will score 40. Shoot out style.

You have to earn the right to throw the ball around. You need to complete your sets and your forwards need to get quick play the balls.

You can’t throw the ball around whilst you are struggling to get the ball out of your own end.

We play boring stale footy. One put garbage and no creativity. No real suprises.

No when we complete at 80%+ and we have 50%+ possession we play great footy.

Edit: There is a subtext to the above and that is our halves creating points in the red zone. I think that goes to the 6 and 7 each wanting to lead the team. An problem that deserves its own thread.

5 tackles head down bum up then one shot at them on the last. Seriously how can this be positive. Added to the fact we very often dont manage to get to the last tackle. Our style is clueless and boring.
Gus said it 2 months ago when Bracy stated that Parras year was probably over. Gus replied "it was over a long time ago". Its glaringly obvious our team is going nowhere. Sadly change must come or the rot will continue.

Those teams do it at speed. Regretably Parra do it at "slow".

We are all Parra supporters here Gronk. We all want success mate. These same errors happen every week. Nothing is improving. We are signing players chasing a pay day. Until we have passion coming through or strong leaders or new ideas, regretably the same rubbish will be dished up.
BA is a legend for what hes done for our club. Is he a great coach though? Can he turn this around? I honestly dont think he can. Make him Football Manager and hire a another coach. It cant get worse than it is.

Sacking the coach might solve the problem, but it also might not.

We need this review and we also need the Board to have the balls to act on recommendations. I don’t see Bernie and Max in the same light as I did Sharp Spags Fitzy who had their own failings of either incompetence or egocentric self importance.

Never said I was happy with our performance. In fact I have posted many times that silly errors by players who should be doing better cost us the game.

The reality is (like it or not) that we lost in the dying seconds after our winger’s boot hit the chalk.

You of course will choose to flap your arms about and spew your sarcasm all day blaming coaches and AFL trainers and the Board.

All good, we all deal with life’s problems differently.

Yeah you really think we deserved to win that game??? Would of just been papering over some Grand canyon type cracks. But you be happy with a performance like that. Go Parra!! Go BA!! Go the spoon!!! It's very exciting.

We lost at least one game we deserved to win this year so why not win a game we deserved to lose? Only a death rider would think one was ok and not the other.
